Basketball Embarassment part 2

"I'm not doing this crap." I said.

"Come on Helga it isn't so bad. Learning about organic compounds is pretty interesting." Phoebe stated.

"Of course you'll think that, you love chemistry stuff." I said grumpily.

"That is true..." Phoebe said in defeat.

"Well I think this is supposed to be the last assignment of this section. So you won't have to worry about it after this." Lila said giving me a light pat on the back.

"Ugh I hope this is. If not, I'm going to go insane." I grumbled.

The girls started to giggle before we all continued to finish are assignments. Much to my dismay. After the three hours passed it was now lunch time. Which meant it was time to see the guys at their basketball practice. I can't wait to see Arnold, looking so cool and sexy. I know he's going to do great.

"And what are you smiling about Helga?" Nadine asked with a smile.

"No doubt it was about Arnold am I right?" Rhonda said with a smirk.

"N-No! You have no idea what I'm thinking. Just shut up and let's go." I lied while trying to rush ahead of the girls.

"Okay girl whatever you say." Rhonda said with a smug face.

I rolled my eyes and continued to walk towards the gym. With the girls following close behind. It took us about 8 minutes to make it across the school and to the gym. I will never do this everyday. I saw the guys lined up to make some free throws. Me and the girls got on the bleachers and sat in the third row. Since it was only the  tryouts their was hardly anyone in the bleachers. Besides another small group of girls.

I then started to turn my attention to the guys making a few shots in the hoop. And immediately noticed Arnold in the middle of the line. He looked so good in his tank top. His arms looked so toned and good. I had to stop myself from drooling in front of everyone. I noticed Phoebe smiling from ear to ear, when Gerald came to the front of the line.

He looked back and saw her, she waved at him shyly, while he gave a thumbs up and winked at her. She blushed but continued to look at him. He ended up shooting the ball into the hoop so perfectly he made it look so effortless and easy. As he walked towards the back of the line he high fived Arnold, Sid, Curly and Stinky.

After a couple more guys went, it was now Arnold's turn. I clasped my hands together tightly. And leaned slightly forward. Come on Arnold you can do it. Don't you dare miss that fucking basket. I thought in my head nervously. I saw Arnold have the ball in his hands and he started to dribble it a bit on the floor. He took a breath in before lifting the ball up bending his elbows slightly before throwing it in the air.

I bit my bottom lip slightly and looked at the ball soar through the air for a bit. Before making it's way into the basket.

"Yes!" I blurted out happily shooting out of my seat in excitement. Though I quickly clasped my mouth.

Everyone had turned their heads to look at me while I nervously laughed and sat back down.

"Aww Helga I knew you'd be happy to see Arnold. But I didn't think you'd get that excited." Rhonda said in amusement.

"Shut up, just shut up." I said in embarrassment.

"Well I wouldn't be so upset about it Helga. Besides it looks like Arnold is thankful about it." Phoebe had said with a smile.

I looked back down and could see Arnold staring up at me with a smile. Which of course made my embarrassment worse and made me blush. I saw him then give a thumbs up and smiled wider to me. Giving me a thumbs up in the process. I blushed harder trying to sink myself back further into the row of bleachers. Yup I am never going to live this down.
