After school assignment

I never thought my friends could be so embarrassing. Okay maybe I'm not too surprised since they act like annoying sisters. I mean they love me, but can't pass up an opportunity to embarrass or tease me. Okay example would be this afternoon at school. Two hours later in class it was almost time to go home.

Knowing it was only ten minutes left our teacher didn't care what we did for the remainder of the class. So we were free to talk until the bell rang. That's when the girls immediately started to badger me with questions about how the "date" with Ian went. I just had to roll my eyes at the amount of questions they kept asking.

"You seriously got to tell us more details about how it went!" Nadine yelled.

"Yeah did he try to make any moves on you?" Lila asked.

"If he did how did you respond?" Phoebe asked.

"You better spill girl." Rhonda said.

"Ugh I told you guys a thousand times nothing happened like that between us. We just watched the movie and enjoyed it. Besides it wasn't a date!" I yelled in exasperation.

The girls looked at each other with looks of doubt, then looked back at me.

"I'm serious you guys! Nothing is happening between us!" I yelled.

"What's happening between who?" I heard a voice say behind me. I froze instantly upon the voice.

"A-Arnold?!" I said in shock.

"Hey Arnold." The girls giggled giving me a wink. I rolled my eyes at them while blushing.

"What are you girls talking about?" Arnold asked.

"A boy that Helga likes." Lila said.

My mouth dropped wide open from her saying that.

"Yeah a cute boy that Helga knows very well." Rhonda added.

Phoebe and Nadine were giggling, while Arnold looked confused.

"What? A cute boy?" Arnold asked.

"Its really none of your business Football head!" I said in attempt to cut him off.

I'm going to seriously kill them.

"True, though since you were yelling out loud for the whole class to hear. I grew curious." Arnold stated.

I blushed a bit more embarrassed he had heard us. Damn why do I always yell out things when I'm irritated?!

"Whatever, besides it's not like the conversation was that serious anyways." I said brushing him off.

"If it weren't, then why are you getting so worked up with me asking about what you guys were talking about?" Arnold said with a questioning look.

"Uh, w-well..." I stuttered nervously.

I blushed and tried to come up with a good excuse. Then I saw Gerald and Sid walk up to our group to join in on the conversation. Making me relieved since that kinda threw him off a bit.

"Hi Gerald, and Sid." Phoebe greeted, blushing upon saying Gerald's name.

"Hey guys." Sid said.

"What up guys, hey Phoebe." Gerald replied.

We all waved and said hi back to them. Though I could see that Phoebe ended up getting a bit flustered when she greeted Gerald. Especially when he decided to sit on top her desk. You could tell Phoebe was trying everything in her power to remain calm.

"So guys I was thinking how we all need to hang out. So me and Gerald asked Peapod, if we could all hang out at his place this weekend." Gerald said.
