"One caramel macchiato, two medium drips, and a pumpkin spice latte for moi." The black soul singer rattled off as she placed the cups in front of their chosen drinkers. Alice eagerly reached for her macchiato, causing her three other companions to laugh as they reached for theirs. She scowled playfully at them. Among her were Mercedes, Marley, and Tina; the four of them decided to have a girls' day out before the summer ended and Mercedes, Marley, and Alice all shipped out of state for college. It was much needed, especially for Alice and Marley, who felt like all their time was spent making sure five rambunctious boys didn't get into any trouble.
"Thank you, Madame Barista." Alice cheekily replied, earning herself a swat on the shoulder. "So, I have a question for Miss Marley."
"Oh, dear." Marley whined. "What did he do now?"
"What? What did who do?" Tina asked in confusion.
"Miss Marley and a certain gel-headed Warbler I hear have been getting really cozy with one another." Alice smirked at the blush that was coating the girl's face.
"Ooh..." Mercedes said while Tina was squealing in her seat.
"Mare! You have to tell us everything!" Tina pleaded.
"There's nothing to tell!" Marley protested. "Blaine and I...we're just really good friends, that's all."
"So, you wouldn't mind if I asked him out, right?" Tina replied calmly, picking at her nails. Marley's face flushed. "He is a good catch."
"S-Sure. What-Whatever you want, T." Marley forced out with a fake smile.
"Oh, she so likes him." Mercedes stated with a large smile.
"Oh, definitely." Alice agreed with a grin.
"Totally and completely fallin'." Tina nodded with bright eyes. Marley balled up her napkin and threw it at Tina, her face bright red.
"Look, Blaine is really sweet, and nice, and a total gentleman." Marley began.
"Not to mention incredibly handsome." Mercedes continued with a mischievous grin.
"And so much fun to be around." Tina added.
"Not to mention a great man of God." Alice pointed out.
"Oh, don't forget extremely talented in music." Tina reminded them. All three of the girls nodded very seriously.
"Yes, he is all of those things. Bottom line is, he's incredible, and-" Marely replied.
"Girl, if you say 'and I'm not' I am dumping this coffee down your purse." Alice threatened lightly. "You, Miss Marley, are nothing short of amazing and beautiful. The fact that Blaine even gets a chance with you is an amazing feat for him." Mercedes and Tina nodded while Marley smiled thankfully at Alice.
"As I was saying, Blaine is incredible, and while, yes, I do like him, I'm perfectly content with the pace that we're going. I'm perfectly happy taking things slow, in fact I think I prefer it this way. Not everyone can be Sebalice." Marley teased.
"Amen to that." Tina replied at the same time Mercedes said "Preach it, sister."
"I know, I know, we're amazing." Alice smiled, giving a mock dip of her head. "And, yeah, Sebastian and I did jump headfirst into our relationship, and although there's been some ups and downs, what with the whole rivalry between the New Directions and the Warblers, and the whole Kurt debacle, and everything else, I feel in my heart that if we can get through a high school romance then we can get through one in the real world."
