Morning the Next Day

The next day, Lucas woke up first. After opening his eyes he noticed that Destiny's face was really close to his. All he could do was smile and stare. He didn't wake up early or late it was just around 8 in the morning, when the doves would sing their morning sonata. Wow, Destiny looks really cute when she sleeps. I might be able to. . No!I can't! What are you thinking Lucas!? We aren't even dating, Lucas thought. What he did instead was kiss her on the forehead and sat up in the bed, putting a hand on Destiny's head. When Lucas did this, she woke up, yawned, and opened her eyes.

" Morning sunshine!" Lucas happily said.

" Morning," Destiny said as a greeting.

" You should hurry and get ready. Since today we are going to have a little fun. Don't forget that I did win the competition yesterday," Lucas said slyly. He then grinned an evil grin of mischief. One of his nicknames is the "Demonic God".

" Aww, I don't want to," Destiny complained playfully. She didn't know what would happen, but her images of what could happen were even worse. Depending on what would happen, she decided to deal with whatever.

" Destiny! I'm coming in!" a voice yelled from behind the door. It was Albert, probably there to check on her. The door slammed wide open and in the doorway stood Albert and Destiny's brother, Danielle. Danielle was being contacted through mirror magic, it seems that he left last week before telling Destiny. Well that explains why he isn't at home, Destiny thought. Their eyes looking at the bed and the two, man and woman, sitting there. "Ahh!! What did you do to my master!? I bet you tied her up and made her do unspeakable things! Maybe you even made her beg for your forgiveness!".

" We didn't do anything like that!" Destiny protested.

" Well we are just going to talk about it during breakfast. I expect that you two will be ready by then?" Danielle said through the mirror, he seemed to be having a good reception.

" Why yes," they both said simultaneously.

  The first one to take a shower was Destiny. She had taken a quick one so Lucas wouldn't have to wait that long. The clothes that she had been given was the dress that she was wearing yesterday. The housewives had washed their wet clothes the night before.

" Lucas! You can go now!" Destiny shouted from the bathroom. She had already changed, but her hair was still damp.

" Okay! I'll come in shortly!" Lucas yelled through the door.

Destiny stepped out from the bathroom and grabbed the brush on the table next to the bed. Lucas went into the bathroom and started to take a shower. Once Destiny finished combing part of her hair, she waited for Lucas to finish his shower. She needed him to comb her tips since combing her tips is a difficult task for her.

" Hey Destiny, just so you know I-," Lucas began, but was cut off by Destiny.

" Can you help me?" Destiny said shyly.

" Sure! With what?" Lucas asked.

" Well, I need you to tie a bow in the back and comb my tips," Destiny said.

Lucas sighed," Okay, I'll help".

Lucas sat down beside her, grabbing the comb. He then started to comb the tips of Destiny's hair. After that, he moved her hair to one side and tied the ribbon in the back. He secretly kissed her on her back. When he do this she started to blush.

" Okay, I'm done," Lucas said. He waited for a moment for Destiny to get up. When she didn't he noticed that something was wrong. " Hey Destiny, you okay?".

" Let's go downstairs now," Destiny said quietly.

They both went down the stairs, but they made sure to go at different times, so their brothers wouldn't get suspicious. Once they were both down and seated at the dinning table, breakfast started to be made. In the meantime they began to talk. Destiny explained why she slept over and what happened last night. She told them that she had killed Black Scorpions leader and that they decided to disband the group.

" Job well done little sis," Danielle's said happily thought the magic mirror, " I also need to tell you something important. So me and Lucas' brother have been talking things over. If you didn't know, I'm already here in in the port town in Wysidia because of a couple problems. While I'm gone, Alex here will be watching over both of the kingdoms. Also today's their anniversary Destiny". When he started to say the last part his tone changed from a serious tone to a somber tone.

" I know that," Destiny said sadly, looking down at her lap. " We should go after breakfast, but I want to come back here, since I'll be spending the day with Lucas. To, to you know, catch up and all".

  " Okay for breakfast we have omelettes and freshly squeezed orange juice," the head Chef said. Destiny looked up in surprise.

The housewives then started to put the plates of food on the table and they started to eat. After breakfast was done, Danielle and Destiny headed out for a while. The reason they did this was because they were going to put flower on their father's grave and pray. They didn't want his death to be in vain, but for it to be a sign that humans still treat demons a monsters. That was years ago though. They now coexist with the demons happily living their lives. Some gods are even friends with demons, like Lucas and Destiny. At least in this world, this time everything is different. . .

Wow! I'm surprised that I actually did a chapter in Fathers Day! I know that I said in my last chapter that I probably wouldn't update anymore this week, but I just had to. So first off, I wish everyone a happy Father's Day, especially to those whom lost theirs already. Couple things that I would like to say. First: This coming Tuesday ( June 21) is my birthday. So I'm pretty happy for that. Second: I'm going to Anime Midwest. I'm really excited for that when it happens. Imma cosplay! Third: I MIGHT not update on Tuesday since I already did it twice on Wednesday and of course today on Fathers Day. That's all I have to say for now. So have a nice Fathers Day!
