I sighed before turning over and wrapping my arm around Patrick, holding him close and kissing his neck. The alarm clock was about to go off soon. I took a deep breath as I tried to hold him as close as I could without accidentally strangling him. "Damn" I began to think to myself, "I really don't want him to go." Hell, for a moment it felt like all time had stopped moving as we lay there in our bed. However time was soon against me as I heard the alarm clock beeping. Patrick's arm extended and slapped the alarm clock, turning it off and I quickly cracked my eyes, pretending I was asleep. He then turned over with his emerald eyes looking at me with a goofy smile as his deep sweet voice began to speak, "C'mon babe, it's time to get up." He said as if he was happy to wake up. I then opened one eye, "But what if I don't want to?" I whinned.
Patrick sat up, "You don't have to, but I do." He smirked. I then groaned as I sat up next to him, looking at his green eyes and brown messy bed head hair. "Do you really have to leave? I mean, you've only been home two days this week and I'm honestly starting to feel like you don't want me anymore." I said as I looked down at the covers. He sighed and put his arm around me, "Hey Damian.." he said with his soft voice. I looked up at him, his eyes staring at me once more, "Yes Patrick?" I asked with a little irritation. "When I get back, me and you are going to take a trip. Just me, you and where ever you want to go." I sighed. "Alright." I said, forcing a smile. He then kissed me on the lips softly and then got out of bed, leaving me alone in a sea of blankets and pillows.
Patrick came out of the bathroom, his hair brushed back, and he was in black suit with his tie undone, actually I think he was having trouble with it. I got out of the bed and walked over to him, "Heh you dress fancier for work than you do for me." I said with a smirk. He just chuckled, "Hey babe, can you help me out with this tie?" he asked with a goofy smile. I grabbed the ends of the tie, "Twenty years old and you still can't tie a tie," I let out a light laugh. "Hey it's not my fault they're confusing." He rolled his eyes as I tied the neck piece and patted it. I gave a small sigh, "Something the matter?" he asked, raising a brow. "It's just, I don't see why you can't take me with-" I was interrupted, "I don't have time for this Damian," he said cold heartedly before walking away and out of the room. "I love you," I yelled, I knew he could hear me, but the irritated bastard didn't give me a response. I sat on the bed and looked at the tv. It wasn't too long before I got up and looked out the window to see Patrick get into our only car and leaving.
Even though he had left, I continued to stare out the window. I was alone, once again. I'm tired of being left alone and feeling this way. The only other person in the house was the maid and she doesn't even talk much. I closed the bedroom door and turned on the tv, then proceeded to lay down in the bed, hopefully I could just sleep until he gets back. Of Course Damian, sleeping for three days will solve everything. I raised a brow at the tv as the reporter lady began to speak of a plague or something stupid, I then fell asleep.
I awoke to the sound of the tv flashing some kind of alert, "Evacuate to your nearest local shelter, this is not a drill." "I guess I better get up and get going then." I got up and walked into the bathroom, turned on the light, and looked into the mirror. My coal black hair was a mess, my white skin made me squint as I looked, harder into the mirror to see my pale blue eyes. I looked down to see a heart tattoo on my hip, it was the first tattoo I got when I first got together with Patrick. I remember packing my bags in front of my parents as Patrick waited in the drive-way for me to "run away" with him. Afterwards, we went to dinner and later I got this tattoo, it was my favorite night. I turned around to see the tattoo of angel wings on my back, I surprised Patrick with this one, I got it when he was traveling for work somewhere. At first he didn't like it, but then he began to call me his little angel.
I then brushed my teeth, put on a black button up t-shirt with the sleeves rolled up and then slipped one my favorite pair of black skinny jeans. I ran my fingers through my hair a few times and then walked back into the bedroom to put on my socks and shoes, I then proceeded to walk to the dresser and pull out the jewelry drawer, putting on a silver watch on my right hand, a silver bracelet on the left, and then putting in my earrings. I then heard something downstairs and that sounded like falling. I quickly opened my door and ran down the stairs to see blood on the floor along with the maid.
"Holy shit, are you okay Lucy?!" I asked as I ran over to her. I bent down to examine her, it looked like she had, a bite mark on her neck? The bite marks looked human, but why would someone even do that? But how? No One could've gotten into the house unless the door was unlocked. She then started to get up slowly, "L-Lucy? Are you-" I was soon interrupted as Lucy lunged at me, I fell back on to the ground as I grabbed her hands and tried to force them away from me, however she almost bit me. I quickly moved my hands to her shoulders, pushing her back. "LUCY STOP!" I yelled as she continued to push against my hands, "LUCY WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING!?!?" I yelled again, but she seemed like she couldn't understand me. I looked around and saw a knife not to far away from me. I grabbed her neck with one hand and reached for the knife with the other. It was almost out of reach! Lucy easily began to overpower the arm holding her by her neck and began to get closer to my neck. I started to try to reach for the knife again, extending my arm and revealing my neck to the monster that was once the woman who made me sandwiches. She was closer! I could feel her breath on my neck, I gave up on reaching for the knife. I wrapped my other hand around her neck and slammed her head into the counter that was beside me. I did it again, and again, and again, going harder and harder every time. Blood began to appear on the side of the counter, I then threw her off of me and stood up. She was on the ground and began to slowly get back up. I looked down at her and said a cheesy line, "Lucy..." she then looked up at me. "You're fired." I said bluntly as I kicked her in the throat, forcing her back down and I stomped on her her head with enough force to hear a cracking sound, and caving the back of her skull inwards. I looked at her, a puddle of dark blood started to form around her head. I then went back upstairs into my room and changing shoes, because I wasn't going to have blood all over me, that's just nasty.
I grabbed Patrick's baseball bat he used to play with when he was younger. "Heh, that's my lucky bat, it hit perfectly every single time." He used to say. "Well maybe it will hit perfectly this time too." I said, looking at the bat. I made my way back downstairs and I looked out the door, remembering Patrick had taken the car to the airport. "Well shit...." I said looking at the distance I had to walk, just to get to the city.
I then walked out the front door, which was wide open. I looked down and sighed, hoping Patrick was okay. I then started to take my first steps heading towards the city, this was going to be the worst day of my life.
