Chapter 25•Lies and broken trust.

Ella, Elizabeth, Megan and I all sit on the floor, bowls of food in front of us and pillows in our hands.

We haven't caught up in a while so we thought why not have a sleepover?

"So." Megan grins looking at Liz. "What's going on between you and Isaac."

Elizabeth blushes looking down at her hands that sit in her lap. "Uh..."

"I saw him touch your waist when you all saw..." I begin but stop.

They all look at me and grin.

"What's going on between you and Logan, Ash?" Ella grins mischievously. A blush begins to form on my cheeks and I don't bother hiding it.

"Hey." I wine, "we're talking about Liz and Isaac right now don't try and change the subject."

Liz fiddles with her hands, "Isaac and I...are dating...?"

"What!?" We all shriek. She laughs softly.

"Yeah. It happened when Ash and Logan went back to her moms. Jason was with Megan so he came around to my dorm and we hit off."

Megan laughs, "by hit off do you mean roll around under the sheets?"

Liz's cheeks go even brighter.

"No way!"

"What!"

"You are dirty Liz!"

We're all shrieking. Liz merely laughs.

Deep down I'm happy for her but I'm worried about Ella. I look at her. She looks fine. She's smiling.

"Guys it's no big deal-" Liz tries to calm us down.

"It is a big deal." Ella interferes, "you have a boyfriend and you didn't tell us your just as bad as Ash."

"Hey!" I object. I know she's talking about me not telling them about what was happening between me and Logan.
"I just didn't think Megan would be happy..."

She laughs at this. "Ash you do not know how long I've been shipping you and Logan? Since the very beginning!"

I grin at Megan. She smiles back at me before turning to Ella.

"Alright Ella what about you?" Ella must have been in a trance because her head flies towards Megan and her eyes are wide.

"Huh?"

"Is there any special guy in your life?" Ella looks at me. Her eyes are wide with guilt. I stare back at her confused but it doesn't take me long to figure it out.

I wish it wasn't so easy to figure out. I hope I'm wrong.

God, please be wrong.

"Sleeping beauty stop."

I close my lips.

"I gotta tell you something too."

I find myself biting my nailing awaiting his next words.

"I'm in love." He says.

"Ethan I'm sorry but I'm not ready to say that-"

"With another girl." He adds. I stop talking.

"No way." I whisper. The girls fall silent and Ella's face falls. She knows that I know.

"Oh my god." I get up off the ground and pace back and forth. I stop and look at her as the thought occurs to me.
