Wrapping up

Life had been good. Sam had finally found a girlfriend and she had moved into the bunker. She wasn't all the surprised by the creatures she was scared of a little girl were real and without her silly demeanor Sam's life would be boring. Dean an d Cas still went on hunts, but were way to focused on one another to care about much more. Dean had started surprising the Cas with little gifts and kisses in the hallway. They were literally to cute, it was sickening. 

Crowley had left the boy's alone for some time now and even me! Which was only perfect because Gabe and I had gotten married a little over a year ago. Once I was strong enough to fly to Heaven without his help. For the first time in two months everyone was meeting up for dinner at the bunker. 

I fluttered in the living room and was waiting for Gabe to arrive. He had to help Balthazar with something before he could show up so I had come by myself. 

"Lex, how are you?" Dean said wrapping me in a hug. I giggled and hugged him back. 

"Better then ever Dean-o. I have a surprise for Gabe." I said. He let go of me and looked at me expectantly. My hand fluttered lightly over my stomach. Dean narrowed his eyes and Cas turned his head to the side. 

"NO WAY. SAMMY COME HERE!" Dean yelled causing me to smile the biggest shit eating grin. Cas still looked confused so Dean whispered it in his ear. Gabe could show up in any minute and I really wanted to surprise him. Cas look delighted and wrapped me in a hug. 

"Congratulations Lex." He whispered. U muttered a thank you. Telling everyone had made it so much more real. Sam and Christie stepped out from their room. They were talking and Christie was giggling. 

"What is so important Dean?" Sam asked sarcastically. He saw you and smiled pulling you into a hug himself. 

"Umm our favorite female angel here will be having a much smaller angel." Dean said excitedly. You glanced around for Gabe relaxing when you knew he wasn't here. 

"Awww!" Christie said jumping up and down. She was so excited. Honestly, they were making you really nervous to be a mom. 

"I have a surprise of my own." Dean said. We all looked at him confused. 

"Please tell me you are making cheeseburgers." You muttered suddenly scared he was gonna venture out into the cooking world. 

"I can't even believe you would think I would make anything else." He said appalled. His hand gripped his chest like I had shot him. I rolled my eyes and waited for an answer. I didn't need one because Cas smiled and welcomed Bobby and Charlie.

I was wrapped into hug by both of them. We sat down in the living room and Dean started discussing baby names. Charlie squealed and randomly hugged Bobby in her excitement. 

"What is all the excitement about." Gabe asked from behind you. You stood and hugged him. 

"We are all just SOOO happy you have arrived." I said sarcastically. he narrowed his eyes and started tickling you. 

"NOO Stop it Gabe. I swear. Please." I tried pouting. It didn't work, but he stopped tickling me and picked me up and sat me on his lap. Dean stood and rubbed his hands together. 

"Let's eat." He said walking into the kitchen. You stood up from Gabe's lap and walked into the kitchen. 

"Good. I am starving." You exclaimed and everyone glanced your way knowingly. 

"You have eaten more food then anyone I know. Where does it all go?" Gabe exclaimed shocked. Everyone laughed as you turned bright red. 

"I got the beers. Everyone but Lex right?" Sam asked. Gabes face was pure confusion. 

"Why aren't you drinking?" He whispered in my ear as you both sat down. 

"Would you believe me if I said I have given up alcohol?" I asked. I wouldn't be able to keep the surprise for much longer especially if everyone kept acting suspicious. 

"Hell no" Gabe replied. Making me giggle. 

"Well until after dinner that's what I am going with. You won't eat if I tell you now." I replied Sam handed me a soda and I thanked him graciously. I sipped it while Gabe was thinking. 

"You are torturing the man Lex." Bobby muttered as he took a swig from his beer. I rolled my eyes and squeezed Gabes hand under the table. He squeezed back letting me know he trusted me. Dean started handing out burgers with fries. He handed you your plate and grinned. 

"Dinner for two." He said making you freeze. 

"Dean Winchester I swear you have a death wish!" I yelled. I glanced back at Gabe was frozen completely. I could see the gears turning in his head. I sighed and picked up a fry. The whole table was silent waiting for Gabe's reaction. 

You looked over at his seat when Gabe flew out. It shocked me to be honest. 

"Dean look what you have done." You glared. He looked up at you innocently. You jumped when hands wrapped around your waist and Gabe whispered in your ear. 

"I am going to be a father and you decide to wait to tell me." His voice dripped with power making you shiver. 

"I was going to surprise you." You whispered. 

"I am surprised." He said sliding into his seat. He handed you a box. As you held it your confusion grew. As per usual your stomach growled and Gabe snatched the box away. 

"Eat." He commanded. You knew he was pleased with himself. Cas has the biggest grin on his face as did Gabe making you one hundred suspicious. I picked up the burger not wanting to displease Gabe and ate. The table almost forgot the encounter and we all joked.Of course, Dean's burgers were to die for and you had two. Which surprised Bobby and Dean himself because you ate more than both of them.  After dinner Gabe pushed the box into my hand once again. I glanced down at it and back up at him. He was looking at me expectantly. 

I carefully peeled off the wrapping which annoyed Dean because he was anxious to see what it was. The box was about the size of a regular card and as thick as a Harry potter book. I took a deep breath and opened the lid. Inside was a little mobile for above a crib and a note. 

"Lex. Whenever you have your first child I want you to know how wonderful of a friend you have been." was written in Gabes messy scrawl. 

"Flip it over." Gabe sighed. I flipped it over silently to see more of his scrawl. 

"I can't believe you are my love. Now I can't believe we are going to have kids. Micheal made this mobile for me when I was nothing more then a baby myself. I have added to it including some of my own and your feathers. I can't wait to start a family with you. Thank you for being my love." You read it outloud. Tears sprang in your eyes and you pulled him into a hug. 

"Why did you have to make me cry. I already have to deal with throwing up in the mornings." You grumbled into his chest.
