I didn't really expect this......

Chapter 8

Tiana's P.O.V

(A Month Later)

Lavender has surprisingly become really famous. One reason is cause she's in the BB team. Another reason is cause she has a boy friend. 

Lavender comes up to me and says " Hey dude. Me and Liam are going for a date near the beach. Before we go for a date I want u guys meeting up at my house so You guys can make me look fab. Can you'll come today? Please?" I say " Ya that shouldn't be a prob. Besides I don't have a lot of stuff to do today." Sasha says " I've got to go to Boston to meet relatives for the weekend. So sorry." Lavender says " It's k. At least Tiana should be able to come." I say " Definitely. What time?" She says " 6:30pm. I need time to do my hair and makeup." Then we head for class.

While waiting for the maths teacher to come Peter says " Hey are you free today?" I say " No. Why are you asking?" He says " I wanted to tell you something important. Is it really important that you can't meet me instead?" I say " It's important cause I've got to make Lavender look fab for her date. She's going for a date with Liam." He says " Oh okay. Then I'll ask you some other time. Ya our teacher said we're getting our exam papers today." I completely freak out and say " What?! We're getting our papers today?! Stop fooling around!You know this is serious stuff!" He says " Chill! And I'm not fooling around. I'm serious! We're getting our exam papers!" I say " Oh no. I just hope I get good marks. I don't wanna fail!" He says " Why would you fail. You studied really hard." I say " Well after all my parents had to do of course I had to study. Hopefully I won't fail." He says " Don't worry. You won't"

Te teacher comes in and says " Children! I have your exam papers. You will be getting it today." Everybody gasps. Well for those of you interested in my results check this out:

 OMG! I can't believe I got a B in maths! That is so bad! I never get a B! Everything is normal but Maths. Oh no! My mom's gonna be mad at me. This is crazy! I ask Sasha how much she got and she says " I'm getting a B too! This is really bad!" Lavender says " Ye! I'm also getting a B. Now my parents should finally be happy!" This is really bad. My mom's probably gonna ground me. I ask Peter how much he got and he says " I got a B in maths, science, history, geography, french and computer science and an A in English. My marks are awesome!" I just give him a Seriously? look and he shuts up. WTF is wrong with him. Maybe his mom doesn't mind his grades but my mom grounds me if I don't get an f 'in A! So annoying! At least I didn't fail! Kids who failed in the class? well here goes the list:

1) Meena and her shitty group.

2) Some of the hot guys in our class.

3) The dumb-asses in our class.

4) The kids who never talk to anybody but themselves.

5) The people who you constantly see kissing each other outside the classroom.

So basically almost everybody failed. I'm surprised Daniel's grades didn't drop. After all the partying, dating and kissing he's done he's still the topper of the class. He must be having a really good schedule to balance everything. 

(After school)

It rains a lot these days. I kinda like it cause I love the smell of rain and the coolness of its water. It lightens my mood. I also like getting wet. But these days its pouring cats and dogs outside. So I'm forced to carry my umbrella. 

It started raining right now. I dance in the rain for sometime before I go to the school bus. I do a bit of ballet and people just watch. This Hindi song which one of my Indian friends told me to listen to plays in my head while I'm dancing. Then Peter comes towards me and we dance on the tune of that song doing contemporary instead of ballet. Then towards the end of the song Peter's face is so close to mine we could be kissing but I stop and move away embarrassed. Meena and Jenny had been watching the 2 of us and so Meena gives me a You-Better-Watch-It look and I loudly tell her     " I'm not gonna stop. Do what you want." and I go to the bus.

Peter's P.O.V

I can't believe I actually danced with her. We could have kissed and she would know I liked her but she moved away. Why did she do that? I wish I could kiss her. That would have been so cool. 

I wonder what she meant when she spoke to Meena. Was Meena and possibly Jenny a part of the whole thing? Were they the ones who made Tiana unhappy, afraid and forced her to stay away from me? If they did that I'm gonna take revenge on them by telling Tiana that I like her. I'd even kiss her in front of them to piss them of. 

I go to the bus and sit next to Tiana. She's completely wet. I loudly say " Hey you wanna go for a date? 7:30pm at McDonald's." She looks at me like I've said the f-word for the first time and whispers " Have you lost your head? What's wrong with you? If your trying to make Jenny jealous do this stuff on someone else." I say " Okay." and we shut up for the entire trip back home.
