Chapter 10

Peter's P.O.V

(A week later)

(At school)

There's this other guy who has a crush on Tiana. His name is Alvin. Tiana knows he has a crush on her because he told her. I know about this stuff cause Tiana told me. Alvin's kinda like a jerk. Even Tiana says so. He's shorter than her, does the weirdest things and has a weird accent. He keeps flirting with Tiana but since she's smarter she manages to fend him off. 

Tiana says she has a crush on someone but she won't tell me who. If she's joking good. But if she's serious I hope she likes me. Since I'm one of the few people who know a lot about her I know it's her birthday today. She said she won't wear colour dress cause she doesn't want her 'enemies' to piss her off. 

She sits on her chair and puts her head down. I stroke her hair. Looks like she's fast asleep so she doesn't feel me stroking her hair. Daniel comes over to me and says " So sorry about what happened. Meena and Jenny are really good friends and Jenny has a crush on you. So Meena doesn't want Tiana hanging out with thinking that she might steal you from Jenny." I say " Me and Tiana aren't even dating. But let me tell you something." and I whisper to him saying " I love Tiana. Don't tell this to anyone especially Jenny and Meena or they'll start it again." Daniel looks at me and says " What?! Seriously? Her?!" I say " Ya. I don't care what you say. I still love her." 

Tiana wakes up at all the noise that we're making and says " What's all the excitement about?" I say " We were discussing about this BB game." She says " Oh okay." She looks out of the class window and says " Look there's a rainbow! It looks really pretty." I say " As pretty as you..." She and Daniel look at me and I say " I mean it's as pretty as your mom. Your mom's really pretty." she says " Oh okay. I've got to go talk to Lavender so ya just give me a minute." I say " Okay" and she goes.

Daniel smiles and says " That was a close one. You better be careful unless you want her to know that you have a crush on her." I blush and say " I know. But I can't help it. I just fall for her every time I see her. In fact I almost kissed her but then she moved away. I really don't know why she did that." Daniel teasingly says " I think she likes you but she was to embarrassed to kiss you. Besides its nothing new about her. She's always been that way. After she met Lavender she managed to have a little guts. She not afraid of going on stage or singing in front of the entire class but she gets really nervous and embarrassed when it comes to relationships." I say " How do you know so much about her?" He says " While chatting with her on FB." I say " Oh okay. Cool." 

Tiana comes back to her seat and we change the topic. We talk about food and she joins in. I say " Whose in for a treat at McDonald's after school?" Tiana says " Definitely me. I'm gonna forget about dieting and that shit. Let me enjoy for once, but I won't over do it." Me and Daniel together say " You diet?" She says " Duh. I need to be thin." I say " Your super thin already! In fact you need to eat more than anybody else." She says " It's all for ballet. If I stop dieting I'll be like Big Mama." and we all laugh. Then the teacher comes in and class starts.

(After school)

"So your coming to McDonald's?" I say. She says " Oh no. I was just joking. I've got to finish my homework or I'll be grounded." I say " Then let's just go for a walk to the public park." She says " I'll send you a message if I can come or not." I say " Please come. We could go for a walk and talk about school stuff you know." She says " I'll see.

It starts raining again. We both run to the bus. The we sit down and just talk. She jokingly says " So you have a girl friend? Secretly dating her?" I say " Well not really but ya I manage to take her out. In fact I almost.." and she says " Hey are you coming for catching fire? Me, Lavender and Liam, Sasha and Faith are coming. You wanna come?" I say " Definitely. When is it?" She says " This Thursday." I say " I'm coming." She says " Great! That makes 6 of us." I say " Please meet me at the park today. I need to tell you something." She says " Okay. How about 6:30pm?" I say " Okay. See you then. Bye" and she gets out of the bus.

(At 5:30pm)

When Tiana comes its starts raining. I sat under a tree. She wears skinny jeans, a black top and her hair is left open. She sees me and says " Sup! What was it you wanted to tell me?" She comes towards the same tree and I say " Nothing much. Well....umm.....actually...." a girl's voice breaks mine. She's tall and pretty and she says " Peter? Is that you?" I say " Madeline! How come your here?" Tiana just stares at the two of us. Then she says " Let me guess she was your ex-girl friend.Right?" Madeline says " Yes I was his ex-girl friend. But I want to be his again." She's shocked at the moment. I wonder what's going on i her mind. I say " But how can you like me? Besides your a two timer. I don't date two timers! Their disgusting!" Tiana says " If you guys want some privacy I can go from here." Madeline says " So your his girl friend now? No wonder your here, in the rain under a tree. This is what me and Peter used to do." Tiana looks at me with big eyes and say " I'm not his girl friend. But I do....uhhh....I do like him. I've had a crush on him for sometime." I look at her and blush. She has a crush on me?! OMG!!! I say " You did?! Since when?" she says        " Since a week after you joined school. I think you guys need some privacy so I'll just go home" and she runs back home in the rain.

Madeline says " Can't believe a freak like her has a crush on you. She's seems so silly!" and she laughs. I just shoot her a look. She sees it and says " What? Like you have feelings for her." and she laughs again. I say " Yes I like her better than I used to like you. In fact I love her." Madeline opens her mouth in shock. I say " She's better than you. She a great dancer, has a strong passion for ballet and is a really strong person mentally. Unlike you she manages school and peer pressure pretty well. She lost her dad and people tease her in school but she manages to bear with it. She even respects me for who I am not like you. If you did like me you wouldn't date another person at the same time!" Madeline just keeps quite. After about 5mins I say " I've got to go home or my mom will be angry with me." She says " Oh okay." and I leave.

While walking towards my house I see Tiana walking. What is she doing outside when its raining? She supposed to be at home! I walk towards her and say " What are you doing outside?" She says " I'm just walking around. I know it's raining and all but I like getting wet." I take her hand and its cold as ice. I say " You know your sick right? You better go home." She says " I don't want to go home. Besides I'm not sick. It's just the rain ." I think she's gone mad. What is wrong with her? She smiles weakly but looks down instead and says " So you and Madeline are back together right? You must be happy she still likes you." I say " No we're not back together. Are you okay?" she says " That's sad. I'm fine. You loved her so much didn't you?" I don't say anything. I'm just way to shy to admit that I like her. Then she quickly kisses me and says " I love you." Then she runs away. She actually kissed me!
