Back in good ol Paris

Creatron really had drained out all the energy I had left in me. It felt too exhausting fighting that totem villain.

The very next day, i couldn't move a muscle, which astounded me. I never got tired after a little cat fight with akumatized villains, but now..

At work, i was glad to discover that i wasn't the only one with an unpleasant morning. Marinette looked like on the verge of dozing off as she struggled to finish her designs. Grabbing her some coffee, i slid it to her table, and smiled warmly at her as she looked at me with a mixture of shock and gratitude, a rosy blush tinting her cheeks which made her look so-

CRASH! A hooded figure crashed into the office, rattling the whole floor. Dark strips of aura emanated from the figure, as it chuckled. "I am Necromancer! Everyone from the dead will be my slave! Chat Noir and Ladybug! Here i comee!" Necromancer laughed maniacally as he raised his staff, summoning undead zombies, way scarier than the ones in the Plant Vs Zombie game. I groaned as i jogged to a nearby closet, my muscles protesting with every move i made. How did this Arachne move so fast? A totem villain everyday was not what i signed up for. Then, i never actually signed up for all this superhero thing.

As i turned the knob of the closet, i creaked it open only to hear another voice inside. "Tikki! Spots on!" A girl's voice commanded. My eyes froze in place. All my senses were going haywire, telling me to close my eyes and look away, but this time, this time my heart had the upper hand. Dazzled by the magical sparkles and bright lights, i watched in awe as Marinette Dupain Cheng turned into Ladybug right before my very eyes.

She was here all along.

That's when my brain took over and i looked away, running into another corner, whilst trying to tame my beating heart. My eyes widened in shock in this revelation. I knew who my lady was. I knew her.

Still, there was no time to lose. "Plagg, claws out! We got a lady to help!" I yelled. Chat Noir jumped out of hiding in time, missing a zombie attack by a hairs-width. Ladybug was already in action, swinging her yoyo to and fro, with that look of determination shining from the depths of her ocean eyes which made her look so irresist-

"Chat! Look out!" I ducked just in time, missing a table strewn across the room. "T-thanks my lady," i stutter out, which earned a confused look from Ladybug, i mean Marinette?

"My muscles are aching from yesterday, how is there a new villain already?" Ladybug groaned as she started battling another zombie coming at her. Extending my baton, i did a backflip and landed right infront of Ladybug, swinging my baton and gaining momentum, i knocked out the first line of the zombies, but the second line was quickly closing in on us.

"Lucky charm!" Ladybug shouted, exasperation filling up her cry. I started getting tired as well, as the zombie lines were endless. A taser landed on Ladybug's hands, and amidst the commotion i could hear her sigh in relief. Aiming the taser at Necromancer, she electrified him until he was reduced into a small totem. Slowly but surely, the zombies started disappearing. "Miraculous Ladybug!"

"Well done milady. You sent the dead back to the dead." I smirked. "Pound it!" We yelled. My heart skipped a beat when my fist touched hers. Blushing under my mask, i quickly pulled my hand away, trying to do it discreetly. Ladybug didn't notice.

"Well, i'd love to stay and chat, Chat Noir, but i gotta split. I only got one more minute. See you." With that, Ladybug ran out of the room, leaving me alone, still stunned.

And it wasn't because of the taser.
