The faces of the people I will never see again,
The touch of their body against mine,
The smell of their soul in my nose,
I can't seem to find my way home.
Your soul is trying everything to bring me down,
I have gone,
It's too late,
I fight the urge.
Do the voices ever stop!
They are driving me insane,
Do they ever go?
I am a danger to myself!
Grrr, lock me up and toss away the key,
Why won't you let me be free?
I pour out the gasoline,
Just to watch me burn.
Get me a straight jacket!
Put me in a padded cell,
I'm a danger to myself,
I'm a danger to you all!
Inside my hell,
I'm a prisoner to my own feelings,
I never got to thank you,
For ripping out my heart!

Reconciliation for a Dead Man
PoetryI put pure emotion into my poems. The real world is harsh and needs to be exploited. This series of poems will be about different people that mean a lot to me.
