Chapter 12 - Shine

Liz's POV (January 8th)

I woke all of a sudden, unaware of my surroundings. I looked around, trying to remember where I am. But then it all came back, we were all at KitKat's house, after Maya's attack, we all went to KitKat's house, and after climbing the window into her house, there weren't enough rooms, so we all must've fell asleep in the living room.

Maya was asleep on the couch, a light blue pillow resting her head, and a small handmade light blue duvet. Her head was on Keerthanaa's lap, her head hanging down, she was also in a tight spot, and had her arm round Maya. Kody also slept on the sofa next to Keerthanaa, upside down on the sofa, both sharing a beige blanket.

I slept next to Justine and Kat on the other couch, a mint green one. I was on the edge, Justine in the middle, and Kat on the right, sprawled all over me and Justine. And Jenna lay peacefully on the single chair, she basgied it when we all came here first.

And Katie and Nathan on the floor, next to each other. Now where's my phone so I can take picture of-

Suddenly I heard a faint noise of a kettle, I slowly moved Justine's head of my shoulder, and moved Kat's legs of my lap, and stood up stretching, and tip-toed into the kitchen, peering inside. I saw both KitKat and Darkness inside, KitKat switching the kettle on, and Darkness just sitting on a chair in the corner, watching her.

"Uh...Hi guys." I said, stepping in, they both jumped, KitKat turned round and smiled, she had a sleeveless blue shirt with loose grey pants.

"Oh hey, just thought I'd make breakfast for you guys, I'm gonna phone the school, so you can stay here for today." KitKat said

"What day is it?" I asked, sitting on the chair, next to Darkness.

"January 8th." Darkness replied, looking at his phone, I could see a slight blush on his cheeks

"Why are you blushing?" I asked confused,

"A-am I?" He said, as KitKat laughed, "Ahh...Well, I have spare clothes in my room, just check in my wardrobe, the blue room." She said, pointing.

"OH! I WANT HOT CHOCOLATE!" Jenna yelled, coming in. I shushed her and said

"Jenna! There are people still sleeping."

"Oh...sorry." Jenna said sheepishly, I sighed and gestured her to come, we both found Kitkat's room, and went inside. Jenna was looking round while I found us clothes. A nice purple loose shirt, that went over my knees, with leggings, and a creme strapless shirt, with blue jeggings. We got changed and sat at the dinner table, watching cartoons on the TV. When a sleepy Kat walked in.

"I smell toast." She said sleepily.

"Kat go get changed in KitKat's bedroom," I said, she nodded and went back out. And soon enough came in with a t-shirt with a kawaii taco on it with black shorts. She sat down with us and soon enough Kody' Nathan and Katie came in. Katie's hair in a pony tail, with a loose sleeveless purple shirt, the same as mine with black jogging bottoms

Kody found a blue tye-dye shirt with a quote, and blue bottoms. And Nathan with a yellow and red top with blue shorts.

Finally, Keerthanaa and Maya came in still sleepy. Keerthanaa wearing a Undertale sleeveless shirt, with black jeggings, Maya wearing a long sleeved shirt with blue denim skinny jeans.

"Well look who decided to wake up." Kody said

"Oh...Shut up." Keerthanaa said, stretching cracking a few bones, before sitting next to Kody, saving a seat for Maya.
