Kat's POV

So, Missy is a jerk, Keety is innocent and I am stuck with a hole in my hat. I don't know what I'm gonna do...... I left school after lunch today because I have a plan to take care of, but Kody texted me what happened today. Everyone is still at school. I guess I could go for a walk.

I opened the door to my hotel room I had rented a few hours ago and stepped inside. Looking around the room, I found it was a good choice to choose this hotel. It was a decent size, with two bedrooms, three bathrooms, a living room, and a connected kitchen and dining room. The bedrooms were made up of a pair of dressers, a tv, and a closet. One bedroom had a large king sized bed and the other had a set of bunk beds. The walls of the rooms was a gentle sunset orange, accompanied by a dark ocean blue carpet across the floor. It was beautiful. A perfect place for the group to stay. Until we can afford an actual house that is. I really had no reason to do this other than the fact that I wanted to. I know we all had dorms, but this is cooler.

I set down my school supplies, check my phone, pulled my purple hoodie on and set out the door, locking it behind me. I had little idea of where I was going, but I was pushing on for the town. I walked into a small cafè and sat down at the bar area. I hadn't planned on coming here, but was drawn in by the look of the person behind the counter. She was familiar and a long way from home. I was surprised to see the young woman there, taking orders and handing people their food and drinks. "Hello there, welcome to Claddagh Irish Pub! May I take..... your..... order........? Um, miss? Are you alright?" She said as I broke my stare.

"Oh- um y-yeah.... I'll just have a Beamish Irish Stout........" I say quickly glancing at the menu. She scribbled down my order and nodded, heading off to continue her work. I never took my eyes off of her as she worked. I hadn't seen her in forever, and I had changed my entire look, so I wasn't too shocked when she didn't recognize me. After I paid for the drink, she surprised me by leaning over the counter and pressed something cold and wet to my nose, and my cheeks.

"What the..?" I said as I looked at her puzzled.

"You looked sad kitty, just cheerin' you up!"

 "Hah, thanks Jessie.
