Chapter 2 - A Wish Right Now

Anna's POV

My homeroom is 101, so I went one flight up and found Class101. I walked in, and looked around, trying to find a place to sit.

There was a girl, that had glasses and dark brown hair, with brown skin. She had the uniform, but had her skirt hitched up high.

I walked towards her and sat next to her. She smiled at me before talking to her other friends, they were all Indian/Asian. But they were loud and really cool.

I decided to get my stuff out, and I did, when a boy came in. He had jet black hair, with red tip, it covered his eyes. He wore the uniform, blazer and trousers, and had a black school bag. He sat down and sat there silently.

"Hey! New girl! What's your name?" The brown girl said.

I turned round and smiled "My names Anna, what's yours."

"Oh! My names Abi! And this is Bisman and Simi!" She said, pointing at them, they both waved.

"So your new! What's your story?" Simi asked,

"Well...My dad got the job as the owner of a movie theatre, so we came here. I have a sister called Liz and younger brother called Matt. Liz is in this school, she's a first year, and my brother had 2 more years to go." I said

They blinked "Omg! That's cool!" Bisman squealed

"Hey! You wanna hang out with us? We'll show you around!" Abi smiled,

I smiled back "Sure! I'd love too!"

In the corner of my eye, I saw the guy staring at the girls and I...and then I saw everyone staring.

And the second bell rang.

Everyone went to their tables, but Abi stayed next to me.

"Hey, everyone always stares. It's fine, your with us now, we're always like that." Abi whispered, I smiled.

I looked at the guy with black hair, and smiled at him. Before looking forward.

A teacher came in, and sat down. He had brown hair and looked about in his late 20's. He had a white shirt and a black tie and black trousers, and a black blazer. He smiled at everyone, and the room went quite.

He stood up and twirled round before saying "Hey guys! My name is Mr Cox! And I'll be taking your for homeroom!"

Abi started laughing "Mr Cox! You didn't tell me that!"

He grinned and said "Well I wanted it to be kept a secret!"

He sat back down and opened up his computer. "I'll be taking....role call? In England we call it register, but that's okay!"

Everyone started giggling or laughing quietly, as he clicked on his mouse and said.

"Mitchell Abum."

"Here!"

"Arianna Baker?"

"Yes!"

"Adam Berlang?."

"Here."

"Rebecca Cenao?"

"Here."

"Axel Cobbler?"

"Here.."

"Sarah Crossen?"

"Here!"

"Darkness...ExE?"

"Here......."

Brian Fletcher."

"Uh...Here."

"Naomi Heletra."

"Yes."

"Bisman Indala."

"Here! Mr Cox!"

"Here!"

"Here."

Anna Qulater."

"Yes!" I answered

"Eric Redsin."

"........."

"Eric Redsin?" Mr Cox called again, looking up. There was a few empty seats.

"He's not here, duh?" Gene scoffed

"Okay...carrying on, Patrick Ness?"

"Here."

"And finally...Abi Rowen?"

"YES LAD!" Abi grinned, everyone
started laughing again, even Mr Cox.

"Hey? How do you know Mr Cox?" Someone shouted, probably Zenix."

"He was my Latin teacher in Year 10! But then me, Simi and Bisman got a scholarship here and yeah!" Abi explained.

"And now I'm here!" He said, waving his hands in the air

"So now, since it's the first day for the freshman, we have to go down and get the stalls ready! You know...so the freshman can see the clubs! And yeah! Let's go!" Mr Cox said, standing up and opening the door, everyone got up from their chairs and started to go outside and down the stairs, I stayed with Abi and her friends, talking and laughing about teacher banta from her old school.

"Hey! Wanna help us set up for the theatre club?" Bisman asks, and I nodded.

I really wish this day would go on to be a good first day.
