Alex's POV
We silently walked down the hallway and towards the stairs. Laughter erupted from the kitchen and ceased as they most likely stuffed cookies into their face holes. Laurens skips ahead of me adorably and I felt heat rising to my cheeks. He hopped onto the counter and grabbed four cookies. There were two left... Shit.
"Bonjour! Did you two do the do for twenty minutes?" Laf raised a manicured eyebrow. Eyebrows can be manicured. I think.
Laurens blushed but continued to eat his cookie. Jefferson glared at me and Madison coughed slightly.
"I.." I began. "Fuck you, m8" Everyone laughed except Jefferfuck, who was still staring at me.
-a few months later-
Finally school was starting. Everyone, including Jefferson, are going to the same school. I haven't talked to John all summer. I miss his face.
Mulligan gives both me and his lover a ride to school. As soon as we got there, I looked for little Laurens. Laf jogged up next to me and looked around.
"Looking for Laurens?" They questioned.
"Yeah.." I sighed distracted. Their phone buzzed once and Laf looked at it. The screen was a notification from snapchat. Someone named Peggs sent it. They opened it. It was a video of John holding to cups of coffees and jogging towards the phone. The caption was labeled 'u go boo xx ❤️' and I felt a pang of jealousy in my chest. The commentary was quite funny, though.
It was a female voice laughing and yelling, "LOOK JOG IS JOGGING." When he got closer he smiled and handed her the coffee. "Dab." She said and he did; it was funny. Then Laurens laughed and the snap ended. I need to find that boy.
I continued to run around, looking for John. I had to see his face in person. I have to.
