When McGonagall first walks into the Headmaster's office after Dumbledore's death, she finds an unopened box of lemon drops on his desk. A note on it reads:

Minerva—thank you for everything. It has been the highest of honors to be Headmaster of Hogwarts with you as the Deputy Headmistress. I do hope you like the lemon drops—as you know, I'm quite fond of them.
—Albus.

The portrait of Dumbledore winks. It's the first time she has allowed herself to truly cry in years. Since then, she always has lemon drops in the office, and most often offers them to students when they come in. It always makes the portrait of Dumbledore smile.
