"Lauren, Lauren, Lauren, Lauren!" Camila exclaimed, running out of the complex building where tour rehearsals had been taking place. As soon as she had located her girlfriend, she threw her arms around her and started to bounce about like a young child.
"Camila?" Lauren questioned. "What's gotten into you?"
Camila pulled apart from the embrace and answered excitedly, "You. Me. Tonight. Finding Dory!"
"But Camila, we have to be back here in two hours for even more rehearsals." Lauren told her girlfriend in a sad tone.
"Lauren! You promised that you'd take me on opening day!" Camila pouted, folding her arms in disappointment.
She let out a sigh and replied, "I know I did, Camz, but I didn't plan for us to have rehearsals all day long. We do have two hours, but we'd really be cutting it close if we went to see it now. Can I make it up to you by bringing you tomorrow?"
The argument was halted instantly as soon as Dinah, Normani, and Ally walked out of the complex building together. They all took note of Camila's typical stance of disappointment and Lauren's upset facial expression, and immediately knew something was up.
"What's going on here? My favorite couple isn't fighting is it?" Dinah asked.
Camila undid her stance and answered, "Lauren promised me Finding Dory today, and she won't take me because we only have two hours until our next rehearsal."
"Why didn't you guys just tell us? We'll cover for you." Normani resolved with a smile.
"Really?!" Lauren and Camila both exclaimed together.
Nomani nodded, then the two ran off to their car in a flash. The couple entered the car excitedly, and took their respective seats with Lauren in the driver's seat and Camila in the passenger's. Before driving off, Lauren turned around in her place to get a rather large box off of the backseat that read 'Emergency Date Supplies'. She handed the box off to Camila, who knew exactly what the box was.
Lauren and Camila's relationship was just as real as any other, but the only problem was that they didn't want to direct attention away from the group by telling the media about themselves. Another reason for their secret was to avoid having the media come between them. The box of emergency dating supplies was created the very first time that the two wanted to go out in public as a way of disguising themselves as two completely different people. Up until that point, the disguises had been nothing but successful.
Camila opened the box to reveal two wigs, colored contacts, and two pairs of sunglasses. She handed off the red-haired wig to Lauren, who began to fix it onto her head immediately, being careful not to let any brown hairs go noticed. Camila pulled out her own wig, which was blonde, then began to mimic Lauren's actions. As soon as they had finished securing their wigs, they each grabbed a pair of colored contact lenses and put them on accordingly. And just like that, Lauren and Camila became Katie and Samantha. After putting on their sunglasses as a final touch, Camila put the box back onto its place on the seat behind them.
Once Lauren had admired her disguise in the mirror, she pulled out of the complex's driveway and began to drive in the direction of the movie theater. On the way to the theater, Camila put on the radio, which had been playing their latest hit 'Work From Home'. The two started to jam out to their own song as they drove down the street, not caring that the song they were listening to was their own.
"I don't know who these guys are, but I could really get into them, Katie." Camila joked with Lauren.
Lauren let out her own usual, beautiful laugh, causing Camila's heart to flutter at the sound of it. The two continued to jam out to the radio until they finally arrived at the movie theater. Lauren turned off the car, and the two exited it shortly after. With excitement, the two girls ran into the movie theater with their fingers intertwined in each other. The excitement only grew when the two had purchased their tickets and popcorn for the movie.
