Jordan
I had been laying low, thinking of ways to get rich. I stopped going to school, and every time one of my parents called I simply declined the call.
All my father wants is money and my mother is more than likely gon force me to apologize but I'm not doing it. My dad used up more than 50 thousand dollars but I got most of it back already.
"So what's going on J? You lookin like you about to cry an shit" Kash said, staring at me intently.
I cleared my throat, "Never that."
"Tell me what you thinkin bout"
"Pops a junkie now, an moms still be trippin. I had to leave."
"Where you staying at?"
I shrugged, "I haven't slept in 3 days, but sometimes when I talk to Nala she be forcing me to stay with her an shit."
Kash held his hand up with his eyebrows furrowed.
"You said you only talk to her sometimes?"
I nodded, "I don't want to be around people right now." I said.
"But you don't need to cut your shordy off"
"It's not like she'll go fuck somebody else."
Kash gave me a look and I returned it. "If she did it before, she'll do it again." he stated.
"But she promised me she wouldn't fuck me over. As long as she riding for me, I'm coo. She just might get a ring." I said.
"A ring? Come on J. Niggas like me an you don't get married."
I laughed, "A nigga like me ain't ever getting married. I'm talm bout a promise ring, goofy."
He laughed too, "Better be."
"What's it like in here?" I asked while looking around.
"It's hell. You don't ever want to be in here. Hopefully you never get locked up."
I didn't ask for this lifestyle. If shit was up to me, I'd be hooping. My arm got fucked up now they saying I can't do it anymore. Out here in Cali, you either hooping or you gang banging. You gotta be down with the bloods or the crips, an up until I got injured I wasn't with all this.
"I gotta ask you something, it's important." I said.
"Wassup?"
"I need to get rich so I can get you and Kilo out of here. I'm thinking about hitting a million dollar lick." I said.
"What exactly are you asking me?"
"Should I do it?"
"I mean... You sound like you already got your mind made up. Just be smart J. Ight? I can't lose you."
I nodded, "I got this. Imma have you an Kilo out of here soon bro."
"Alright Kash, make this short." one of the guards said to him.
He stood up, and I did too. He pulled me into a bro hug before we exchanged I love you's. Then, I left.
I had a lot of planning to do and I didn't plan on going to see Nala, or talking to any body. I needed to lay low or this wouldn't work out.

"You better be on your way to come see me right now." Nala snapped.
I put my phone on speaker and reclined the seat back. I'm currently outside her house but if she talks bad to me like she did last time, Imma leave.
"That's how you answer the phone when I call?" I said.
"You don't come and see me anymore." she whined. I knew she was pouting.
"Come outside."
I hung up and slid my phone in the pocket of my jeans.
I was looking at the Jordan's on my feet when I heard Nala's voice. She kissed my cheek and smiled, "It's been so long since I've last saw you. I was starting to forget how cute you are." she cooed.
I rolled my eyes at how dramatic she's being. She made me take a few pictures with her before she climbed over onto my lap. She's lucky we're both little.
I came to tell her that we couldn't see each other for a while but now I don't want to. I'm too attatched to her. I suppose I can cut everybody except her off.
"I got a proposition for you." I said.
"Wassup?"
"I got plans to rob a rich nigga, I'm talking millions. You down to ride?"
"I've never robbed somebody before." she said.
"There's a first time for everything." I said.
"But I don't want that to be the downfall."
"You down for me right?"
"Of course."
"Then stop trippin girl. We gon get this money an lay low."
"I want to move to Atlanta." she said. Nala laid her head on my shoulder and I placed my hand on her thigh.
"You don't want to go to the Dominican Republic? That's where you from right?"
"My mom is from there. I'm mixed with it though." she said.
"If you want to go to Atlanta, I guess we can go." I mumbled.
"Your moms home?" I asked.
"No"
"You gon spend the day with me?"
She nodded and got in the passenger seat. I started the car up and glanced over at Nala with a slight smirk.
I missed my princess.
