Ch16// a dog and a frog

Rileys pov

I just finished cleaning up my mess and I grab my vlogging camera to out it in my purse.
I never had a service dog when I was in my deepest deppression, but I had Farkle.
Now I can finally get a dog to call my own.
Farkle can had his tail.

We pull into the parking lot and I immediately run through the gate to go see the animals.
I see birds, rabbits, even hamsters.

We are walking around looking at the dogs and I see this one German Shepard that catches my eyes.
He looks sad, very unstable.
His eyes speak to me.
It like he's calling me.
I have no idea what it is but I need this dog.

I ask a worker about him and they said that he was left in a backyard with his brother all the time and had no human interaction.
They said he killed another dog which is hard to believe.
He's also very hyperactive.
We got the space.

I tell Farkle about the dog and he's stunned.
"No way Riley! Did you hear what he said"
"Yeah i did, but this dog is in a bad place right now. He needs humans to fix him! Like how you were ther for me, I wanna be there for him!!"
"This dog means a lot to you huh?"
"Yeah, I mean look at him!"
"Okay okay we can get the dog"

The dogs eyes instantly light up and he starts wagging his tail.
I give him a smile.

We go into the office to sign the papers to adopt him and we take him to the car where he sits perfectly in the back seat.

He's a big dog for his age.
100 pounds for a one yearold dog.
Damn.

We drop him off at the vet and while he's there Farkle and I go to pet smart to get a dog bed, food and water bowls, balls, toys, leash, food, and a cage.
His life is gunna be sweet.

He's a big sweetheart.
He loves humans and the attention.
I can't wait to shoot a video with him.
He will be so cute with the lighting.

We drive back to the vet and pick him up.
The next thing we do is take him to the apartment to he can sleep in his nice warm bed.

We are back home and it's really late.
I decide to curl up on the couch and edit today's vlog.

Oooohhh we still have to name him!!!
We decided on Guardian because he's very protecting.

As I'm on the couch guardian sits and curls up next to me.
See his a lover.

I finish editing the vlog and fall asleep.

I see Maya and I now in present time.
We look like best friends agian.
I'm holding their baby.
He's adorable...
The baby is growing up.
Guardian is growling at Maya and Lucas.
Oh no....
She kicked guardian!!

{awake}

I wake up and guardian is licking the sweat off my face.

"Thanks booboo"
That's his new nickname!
