chapter 5

I am lying in my bed, soft sheets pulled around my cold toes. I have dropped the map and cloak back to albus. now it's 2:01 and I have gotten no where. what is scorpius up to? finally I make my decision on what to do next, then I slowly close my eyes and fall asleep.

I see scorpius in the hall after first period the next day. I run up to him.

"scorpius!"

"hey rose" he smiles "how ar-"

"where the heck have you been?" taken aback by my harsh tone he raises his hands above his head

"look rose I'm sorry" he put his hand on my arm "I've been busy"

"doing what?"

I press on

He sighs and pulls me to the side of the hall. His sharp green eyes look into mine.

"look, after classes meet me at the edge of the forbidden forest near hagrids hut, ok?"

"ok, but-"

"it'll be fine I promise" he says

He takes my hand and looks at me. "can you keep a secret?"

"yes" I repy

He looks at my hand in his, then looks at me again.

"good" then he releases my hand and walks away, instantly lost in the mass of students.

"rose! Hey rose!" dani is shouting at me from across the room , her light brown hair sweeps over her eyes the rest pulled into a high ponytail. She probably my best friend in the whole of Hogwarts, but I still haven't told her about scorpius.

So, on the way to transfiguration, I tell her every thing from the moment I meet him. I know I can tell dani these things beceause she is rather shy at first and she wouldn't tell a soul. So this is her opinion - since scorpius is a slytherin he is evil and things will never work out.

Wow.

Did I mention she dosent believe in happy endings?
