The last lesson has just finished and I race down to the forest to meet scorpius. He is already there, anxiously leaning against a tree about 50 meters away from hagrids house. When I approach him he grabs my shoulders and looks at me straight in the eye.
"rose, you must promise to not tell a soul about this, OK?"
Shock by his urgency I nod
"I-I promise"
He turns and steps into the shade of the trees in the afternoon sun.

every summer i go to uncles Harry's house to visit for a weekend. every night, when mum and aunt Ginny have gone to sleep, dad and harry tell us stories. i remember one night harry told me, Hugo and my cousins about harrys god-farther a man named Sirius. harry said he had dark hair the fell to his shoulders and detailed tatoes lined his arms. as my brother and cousins became bored they soon drifted off to sleep, everyone except me and albus. then dad told us something far more interesting. Sirius could turn into a dog at will. a big, black, hairy dog that once bit my dad.

"wow!" i remember albus saying "can anyone else do that?"

"of course" replied harry "they are called animagus"

"can anyone be one?"

"no son, it takes great skill" answered uncle harry

i never thought id see a real life animagus, and i never have.

until today.
