Anger and Misunderstandings

•At The New Years Eve Party•

*Finn's P.O.V.*

I watched Ava go and get a drink. She looked absolutely beautiful in her dress. Someone tapped me on the shoulder. I turned around to see it was. It was Isa.

"Hey, do you know where Jack is? I haven't seen him." She asked.

"No I don't, sorry." I said.

"Well, could you help me find him? Im a bit worried." She said.

I looked over at the bar. Ava was sipping on a drink. I didn't want to leave this spot because I might lose her. I looked over at Isa and she looked very panicked.

"Ok, but if we don't find him, we have to come back here after." I said, sighing.

"Thank you!" She said. She grabbed my arm and went searching for Jack in the crowd.

*Jack's P.O.V.*

I watched as Finn and Isa went to go somewhere. I went over to where Finn was standing earlier. I was going to go and find them, but then some guy came up to me and starting talking to me.

I didn't want to be rude, so I kept talking to him. Then, I looked over and saw Ava coming this way. I smiled and saw my chance to escape this conversation.

I walked up to her and offered my hand to her.

"Care to dance?" I asked, forgetting the fact that Finn and Isa were looking for me.

"Of course." She said.

We danced to Whistle by Florida and to a bunch of other songs.

"Hey, wanna go get a drink?" She asked.

"Sure." I said.

We walked over to the bar and ordered some drinks. She ordered some margarita and I ordered a beer. We both drank our drinks and talked about the party, occasionally speaking to some friends or strangers.

Then, an hour later, we drank too much and were a bit intoxicated.

"WOOO!" She yelled. She just drank her 6th shot of vodka.

I also had drank my 5th shot and my 5th beer. We were both drunk; laughing and stumbling all over the place.

We eventually found the rest of our group on a sofa on the side of the room. Daisy and Colin were already sucking faces with eachother. Felicia and Mario were flirting with eachother, holding drinks in their hands.

"Where's Jsa and Iack?" Ava asked.

"Who's Jsa and Iack?" Felicia asked.

"Oh, I mean Isa and Jack." I asked. What is she talking about? Im Jack.

"Last time I saw them, they were on the dance floor." She said.

"Or their doing the deed." Mario said, raising his eyebrows.

Ava sat down on the love seat and I sat down next to her. I sat next to her and put my arm around her. She put her head on my shoulder. I was startled a bit, but then relaxed.

I loved being close to Ava. What am I saying? She loves Finn. She doesn't love me. She never will.

"Are you having fun so far?" I asked.

"The best fun I've ever had." She said.

I looked down at her and smiled. She looked so beautiful under the disco lights. I've liked this girl for a long time.
