Epilogue

The wind was blowing quietly. Almost as if it were whispering to me. The leaves were making a soft rustling sound. They look like their about to break off their branch.

Some are holding on as if it was a lifeline. Other just float away, letting the wind carry them.

The trees, once green, are now brushed with colours ranging from orange to yellow to red.

The grass was swaying with the wind. Leaning against each other.

In the distance you can hear people talking. Whether their on there phone or conversing with another. Oblivious to natures beauty in front of them.

The wind starts to pick up a little. As if I didn't have a hard enough time trying to keep the pages of my book down.

I chose to read outside because I was meeting Jack here and I wanted to keep myself busy with something.

After university, we both moved into a flat in London. Jack has pursued his career in the entertainment business on YouTube. I've also made a youtube channel where I do little movies and vlogs.

We decided not to make a channel just for us. We didn't think it was necessary, even though there were constant demands for us to do so.

Finn and I never became friends again. I miss being friends with him. Talking to him.

Jack and I never stayed in touch with Finn. We've got information from our other friends on how he's doing.

He's found someone recently and has been in a relationship since. Her names Christine, I think. Finn and Jack have split up and have different channels for the sake of awkwardness.

I feel really bad. They were close, but now they had to actually not share the same channel because of me. I always tell Jack that I feel bad that I've broken their close relationship. But then, he tells me that he's always hated him a little on the inside and that it wasn't my fault.

I always wonder why he's hated Finn. Whenever I ask Jack, he merely says that it was a twin rivalry thing. I guess I'll never know.

Whenever were in that situation where we're with Finn, he tried to make conversation sometimes. Other times, he just stays quiet.

I've still maintained my relationships with everyone from university. Sebastian and I finished our film and it was the best in the class. We even entered it in to a competition and it got 1st place.

Isa and I make videos every once in a while. We both have seperate Youtube channels and share a channels where we do little music videos and skits.

After reminiscing all of the reckless and rivalry that happened at university, I realised he much we've changed. How that has shaped us into the people we are today.

Suddenly, it got colder. I pulled my scarf up to my face, covering from my nose down. The pages of my book were violently flailing. I was afraid that they would tear right out of the book.

I finally gave up my attempt to read and closed my book, setting it aside next to me.

"Excuse me miss? Can I sit here?" A stranger asked.

I looked up and saw that it was Jack. I smiled. He was dressed in many layers whilst wearing a cute beanie. In his hand he was holding his vlogging camera and a cup of coffee. My eyes widened in excitement.

He sat down next to me and gave me a kiss on the cheek before handing me my cup.

"And here's the most beautiful girl in the world, Miss Avalone Green!" Jack said, pointing the camera at me.

I made a silly face and grabbed the cup of coffee.

"Well, that's the amazing Ava everybody! If you did enjoy, make sure to leave a comment in the doobly-doo down below and I'll see you later. Bye." Jack said.

He put the camera down next to me and put his arm around me.

"Do you have to vlog EVERYTHING?" I asked.

"Yes! My little Ava's growing up! I need to record these special moments!" He said. I laughed at him.

"Sorry for keeping you waiting so long. I figured you'd get cold out here, so I got you some coffee." He said.

"Thanks, Jack! Your the best." I said, sipping my cup gingerly.

I felt my body slowly warm a little as I drank the coffee.

"So, what did you want to talk about?" I asked.

"Well, actually, I wanted to ask you a question." He said, nervously.

"Go on." I said.

"But before I do, I want to tell you something." He said.

He took my hands and looked at me.

"Ava, you are the most beautiful girl in the world. I couldn't imagine my life without you. Your sweet, creative, smart, funny, everything that makes you perfect.

"When you smile or laugh, you make me feel happy. When your feeling down, I feel like I'm down as well. You always know what to say and when to say it. Wow, this sounds like lyrics to a Justin Bieber song." He said. I giggled at the last part.

"Jack, what are you trying to say?" I asked.

He got up and went down on one knee. He pulled out a little black box and opened it. Inside was a beautiful ring.

I gasped and covered my mouth as I realised what he was doing. He looked so nervous. I could feel some tears welling up in my eyes.

"Avalone Rhys Green, will you make me the happiest man in the world, and marry me?" He asked.

"Yes!" I said, hugging him.

I could hear him breathe a sigh of relief and me laughing and crying at the same time. Jack let go and I wiped away my tears. He grabbed my hand and slid the ring on.

I looked at it. This was the most beautiful piece of jewellery in the world. After, I looked at him and kissed him.

I didn't care if people were watching or staring. I didn't care that I was freezing. I didn't care about anything. All I cared about was Jack how much I loved him.

Jack broke the kiss. I could see him grinning like an idiot. His nose slightly pink from the cold. He grabbed the camera and pointed it at us.

"She said yes guys!" He said.

"Was that recording the while time?" I asked.

"Maybe." He said, giving the camera a weird a look.

"Cheeky Jack!" I said, laughing.

I kissed him on the cheek. He shut the camera off and he put it in his pocket.

"Lets go back home before we catch a cold." He said, getting up.

We got up and walked home.
