Addy sat blankly; staring at her potential transformation in front of her.
"If I do this, there's no going back," she said out loud sitting down on her couch.
"I better know as much as I can about this before I make a decision; my humanity is at stake."
She went upstairs to get her older laptop from the top of her closet. "Let's see if this dinosaur still works," she said grunting as she pulled it down.
First, she looked up the Kraang.
All of the websites said the same thing. 'An American corporation founded in 1979 devoted to science, technology, and the building of a better world.'
"Yeah right, sure, she chuckled, "better world; sounds like every other politician."
She kept scrolling through different pages and changed up her language in the search engine to try and better her desired results.
"Raph said something about the last organic thing that you touch," she murmured. And he was a baby turtle, a small breed, so lemme see..." She typed more words and finally found what she was looking for.
"Ah ha!" "This is it!" She shrieked. She had found the police report dating back 20 years describing the strange scene and inexplicable happenings in Manhattan. "The police never recovered any body's, and witnesses didn't see anything either." "Hmm, seems fishy to me. I'll bet those Kraang creeps paid people to keep their trap shut."
"So they ARE responsible, and this mutagen really did transform them all." "Sounds like I've got a date at the pet shop." "It'll have to wait until Saturday though, but that's good I'll have all week to think about it." "Right now I just need some sleep."
She laid on her bed and kept thinking about Raph and how it might change their relationship if she were to change. She replayed his reactions to her wanting to mutate in her mind over and over. "No you don't...everyone treats you horribly...I love you the way you are...please don't."
She wanted to respect Raph but she knew she needed to do this for their future. It was hard to sleep without him next to her. His presence calmed her. He may smell, but it was his unique smell. The kind that if she were in a room full of people she could pick it out in an instance. It was his natural smell, and she smiled at the thought of him and hugged her pillows closer and imagined how she was going to look after she used the ooze. How would Raph react to her new form? Would he be mad? Sad? Happy?

Addy wasn't herself at work the next day. She really hadn't been since she met Raph.
"Man, I need some coffee," she sighed and went to the break room.
When she came back Sarah was in her office snooping through her purse.
"Uh, excuse me Sarah, but can I help you?" She questioned.
Sarah pulled out one of Addy's sais and they both gasped.
"What the hell is this, Addy what is going on, and why have you been ignoring my calls?" "Does this have anything to do with it?" she asked raising the sai.
Addy returned to her desk chair and placed the coffee on her table.
"Alright, you tell me what's going on missy, I'm not stupid." "You're acting so weird!" barked Sarah.
"What?" "What the hell are you talking about?" "How am I acting weird?" Addy questioned snatching her sais from her and putting them back in her purse.
Sarah just crossed her arms and narrowed her eyes without saying a word.
"Alright, alright, you win." "It's a guy." She mumbled lowering her head.
