Before we got married

Our 1st date

Laura's pov
I groaned as my alarm clock screech it's annoying noise. I hit the off button and sat up, today is Friday eeeekkkk! Wait it's 10:30 I have to get ready before Ross picks me up at 12! I got up and went to take a shower.

I got out of the shower and looked for something nice but casual like he said. I picked out a black crop top and white high waisted jeans with some holes. I then sat down and did my make up naturally and curled my hair, by the time I was done with that it was 11:56. Ross should be here in a few, I sat down and played on my phone.

*doorbell rings*

I walk towards the door and opened it, there stood Ross in light wash jeans and a black v-neck t-shirt, with black converse.

Omg he is sooo hot! I think I might faint, ugh! His beautiful blonde hair is messy like he just woke up out of bed. I should probably ask him if he'd like to come in.

Ross: yeah that would be great,* laughs* by the way you look hot too, and I did my hair like this.* laughs even harder*

My cheeks are on fire I can't believe I said that out loud! I am so embarrassed, I think I might cry. I start to tear up.

Ross:awe it's okay, come here.

He opens his arms and pulls me in close. He smells amazing! He pulls away a little bit, and drys my tears with the pad of his thumb.

Ross: are you okay now?

Laura: yeah, sorry I probably just ruined our date. *frowns*

Ross: no you didn't, it's fine, speaking of our date would you like to go?

Laura: yes!*smiles*

Ross:*smiles and holds out his hand*

I grab it and lock the door. We walked out of my house and towards the driveway. My eyes grew wide once I saw his black 2016 mustang, holy shit! I look up at him and he opened the door for me. I got in and he went around and got in. As soon as the engine start my heart started beating fast.

Ross: do you want some music?

Laura: sure.

The music comes on, and the bass is pounding from side to side. I love this feeling, how you can feel the beat.

Ross pull into the park and found a parking spot by a big willow tree. He got out and open the door for me and went to go lay a blanket down underneath the tree.  He went back the the car and grabbed a big basket and walked towards me with a big smile.

Laura: what?

Ross: nothing I'm just really happy that we get to finally eat!

I laugh, he pulls two peanut butter and jelly sandwiches out with a bag of grapes and finally big chocolate covered strawberries! Yummmm!!!

Laura:*screams* omg thank you so much for bringing these!!!!! I love them!

Ross: I thought you would like them*smiles*

We start eating our sandwiches. As I was half way through I felt something hit me in the cheek. I looked down at my lap and found a grape then looked to my right and found Ross holding in his laugh.

Laura: what the hell!

I grab a grape and threw it at him. A few seconds later we were out of grapes. I look at him and laugh. He looks at me and grabs a strawberry and puts in my mouth, I bite into it, he then took the other half and ate it.

Laura: thanks for taking me out.

Ross: no problem. Do you want to go to the board walk?

Laura: yeah sure!

We cleaned everything up and put it in the car.

*at the boardwalk*

The sun was setting and you could see all the beautiful lights from the carnival. A breeze came and I started to shiver. Ross notice and ran to the car to get a jacket, he put it on my shoulders and hugged me. He then held my hand as we walk back to the car. It was silent in the car, but a good, comfortable silent. As soon as I saw my house come into view I was sad that the night was to an end.
