Dancing on my own

Laura's POV

We got back home about 2 weeks ago, I'm so excited we are planning to have to wedding in the summer or fall we are going to talk about it a little bit more. Today Ross is in a meeting and I home alone with Velvet, I just finished cleaning the house and now I'm dancing in the living room like crazy listening to shut up and let me go by the ting tings! I was on couch whipping my hair back and forth and then I jumped off and did my bad dance moves. I turned towards the entrance to see Ross laughing his head off. I stopped and took a my right ear bud out and looked down embarrassed.

Ross' POV

   I parked my car in the garage, and walked into the house. I called Laura's name but she didn't answer, I walked into the living room to see her dancing like a fool I start laughing when she jumps off the couch. She looks my way and she was embarrassed, I walked over to her and gave her a hug. I took her phone and up plugged her headphones and walked over to the speaker and plugged it in, I turned it up and started to dance. She started to laugh and danced along with me. After a few songs, From the ground up came on by Dan and Shay. As we danced Laura said something.

Ross: What did you say?

Laura: This is a beautiful song.

Ross: yeah, how about this song?

Laura: What do you mean?

Ross: As our song, for the wedding. Don't you remember when we bumped into each other the first time.

Laura's POV

(memory)

Oh my gosh I'm late! I'm late! I run into Starbucks and order my latte. As I was waiting From te ground up came on by Dan and Shay. They called my name and I rushed to the counter.

Laura: Thanks!

Worker: Welcome!

I turned to run out the door, when I did I run into a blonde man in a expensive suit.

Laura: I'm so sorry!

?: It's Okay. It was my fault. Are you okay, do you need any help?

Laura: No I'm fine just late to my interview.

?: Okay. What is your...

I ran out before he could finish his sentence. I feel bad but I'm late to my interview. I really need this job.

Ross' POV

(memory)

I was walking into Starbucks to get my usual coffee when a brunette woman runs into me.

?: I'm so sorry!

Ross: It's okay. It was my fault. Are you okay do you need any help?

She looks up into my eyes, Wow she is beautiful!

?: No I'm fine, I'm just late to my interview.

I need to ask her out!

Ross: Okay. What is your...

She runs out.

Ross: Name.

I sigh and continue to walk up to the counter, order then go to sit down. I listen to the song play, I pretty sure it's called From the ground up by Dan and Shay? They call my name and I grab my drink and walk out, and head to my office.

Ross' POV

Laura: Oh my gosh your right!

I laugh.

Ross: Do you want to go get some Starbucks?

Laura: Please?

Ross: Alright lets go.

We drive to Starbucks and go inside, we walk to the counter.

Worker: Hi how may I help you?

Ross: Can I get one medium Vanilla latte and one medium caramel latte.

Worker: Yes, That will be $6.25.

I pay him.

Worker: Name's?

Ross: Mr. & Mrs. Ross Lynch.

Worker: Okay thank you, your drinks will be out shortly.

Ross: Thanks!

We walk to a table and wait a few minutes.

Worker: Mr. & Mrs. Ross lynch!

We get up and grab our drinks and head to the car. It is about 5:30.

Ross: Do you want to go to in-out burger?

Laura: Sure!

Ross: Okay.

I drive to in-out burger and we go inside, we order and then sit in a booth. We eat and make jokes, I order some desserts and we share them feeding each other. Once we finish eating it around 7ish, I thought of an idea.

Ross: Hey lets go somewhere!

Laura: Where?

Ross: My favorite spot!

Laura: Okay?

We get up and drive to my favorite place.

We get out of the car and I get out and help her out of the car. I lay on the hood of my car and pat next to me for her to join me. We look up at the stars watching them while holding hands.

Laura: It is so beautiful!

Ross: Nothing is more beautiful than you.

Laura: Awe Ross! I love you.

Ross: I love you too.

We turn to look at each other and slowly lean in and kiss.
