Before we got married

Ross' POV

Today Laura and my mom are doing the final touches on the wedding that's happening in one month. I'm watching the twins until she gets back so we can have some family time before I'm off to New York for a business meeting.

The twins were taking a nap, while I was doing some work on the computer. I made some lunch for myself and got out four bottles of baby food, so when they wake up I can just feed them real quick and then get right back to work.

I had the baby monitor at my desk, to make sure nothing happens to them because apparently there is this person running around the neighbor and Laura says she feels like she's being stalked by someone. I don't know but I don't want anything to happen to my family, I hear Riley start to cry, I check the clock and get up. I walk over into her room and pick her up, I bring her downstairs and feed her. When she's done I put her in the play pin, I go upstairs to get Ryder up. To my suprise he was looking up at the celing eyes wide open. I grab him, walking downstairs I hear the door shut, I walked into the hallway to see Laura taking off her shoes.

Ross: Hey Babe!

Laura: Hi!

Ross: How is my mom?

Laura: She's good, she treated me to lunch at our favorite resturant, and talked to me about stuff.

She said walking into the kitchen.

Ross: What kind of stuff?

I asked looking at her while putting Ryder in his highchair.

Laura: Um.... Just stuff, I don't know. Family, saying how I can call her mom and Mark dad. And to never be shy and that I'm always welcome to her house when were in a fight or I'm having a hard time, stuff like that.

Ross: Well it's true, my family is your family. No matter what.

Laura: I know, and I'm thankful for that.

She smiles but its a fake one, I wonder if everything's okay.

Ross: Honey what's wrong?

Laura: It's nothing.

Ross: Laur tell me what's wrong I know you very well.

Laura looks away but not fast enough for me to see a tear run down her face. I turn her head towards me and see many more, I frown.

Ross: Laura tell me what's wrong, if you cry I will cry and that won't be pretty seeing a 24 year old handsome blond man cry.

She laughs a little and then looks at me with sad eyes.

Ross: Laur please tell me.

Laura: It's my family...

Ross: Oh baby I know its hard, you don't have to hide that from me. You need to tell me these things okay?

She nods.

Laura: I'm going to go lay down okay?

Ross: Alright I will make your favorite tonight alright?

Laura: Alright.

I watch her walk upstairs and frown there has to be something I can do. I look towards the living room to make sure Ryder and Riley are okay for me to leave them for a few minutes with out them getting hurt. Once I knew they were okay I ran upstairs and went into Laura's office. I went to her desk and sat down in front of her laptop I open it to see her lock screen of the twins smiling with her on her birthday, I smile and unlock her computer. Her home screen was a picture of her and I laughing while I'm kissing her cheek, I laugh then click on her photos. I look through them to find a couple of pictures I print them out and put them in a folder. I turn off the computer and walk out, I walk to my office across the hall and go on a jewelry store. I walked downstairs and made Laura's favorite dinner.
