Fall Days

Ross' POV

I was in the backyard playing with Velvet, while Laura was in the house getting dinner ready. Alexa and Rocky's wedding is in a couple weeks and we wanted some time to ourselves because everything's been busy with weddings and work and more wedding and more work. Tonight is the night before our anniversary, I can't wait I have everything planned from the morning to the end of the night. I started getting cold outside so I went inside and brought Velvet back in also, I heard Laura singing "Crazy 4 You" in the kitchen. I walk into the kitchen and come from behind hugging Laura.

Ross: Hey baby.

Laura: Hey.

Ross: I love you.

Laura: I love you too.

Ross: After dinner do you want to go for a walk?

She turns around and wraps her arms around my neck and nods her head, she leans in and I do the same our lips meet it starts becoming heated but all the sudden the water started boiling over and we pulled away quickly to take the pot off the stove. We made our plates and sat at the island in the kitchen, we fed each other and made some jokes while we were eating.

Ross: What do you call a owls nose?

Laura: What?(giggles)

Ross: Who nose?

She cracks up laughing, I laugh along because she is so cute when she laughs.

Ross: What did the banana give to the monkey?

Laura: What?

Ross: A BANANA!!!

Laura laughs harder, she has tears running down her face, I giggle at her adorkable self. I take our plates and put them in the dishwasher, I walked towards Laura with my hand held out, she grabbed it and stood up.

Ross: Are you ready to go?

Laura: Yup.

We walk into the backyard.

Laura: So...

Ross: So?

Laura: I was wondering what you saw in the future?

Ross: Well in my future I see you me in a bed with nothing between us.

I smirked. She rolled her eyes playfully.

Laura: Okay.

Ross: Really?

She shook her head and start laughing.

Ross: Oh I'm so going to get you!

She starts running and I run after her, when I finally catch her we fall on the ground and the leaves fly up around us. We laugh and look up at the sky watching the clouds move. I love moments like this where we enjoy nature, it makes life seem special in some sort of way. It makes you think about things like what's next? Actually what is next in my life I mean I have a job and I have Laura, and also my amazing family but I want more I would like to marry Laura some day and lots and lots of kids with her. I feel like it is the next step in my life to ask her to marry me. You know that is what I'm going to do!

Laura: Ross? Hello?

Ross: Huh?

Laura: You zoned out for like 10 minutes.

Ross: Oh sorry I was just think as usual.

Laura: Oh Okay, I'm tired.

Ross: Are you ready to go to bed?

Laura: Carry me?

Ross: Okay.

Laura: Thank you Rossy I love you!

Ross: I love you too baby.

I pick her up bridal style and walk to the house and lock the door, then I walk upstairs and put her on the bed while I strip down into my boxers. I got into bed and pulled Laura close.

Ross: Goodnight baby, I love you.

I kiss her forehead.

Laura: Night, love you too.

Soon I was fast asleep.
