Chapter 3

It was very awkward because I just froze at the door. While everyone stares at me, I stared back. I couldn't move at all until the teacher told me to sit down. I ran to a open desk in the back.

I put my head down and my hair covered my face like a curtain.

"Psst." I heard from someone sitting next to me. I didn't respond, so they started to throw pens at me. I don't understand how the teacher didn't hear the little click when the pens hit the floor.

Suddenly my hair curtain showed light and I shot my head up. I saw a boy who was very attractive and by the looks of it, very tall.

"You can't hide from me forever you know." He said.

"Wasn't planning on it." I said back. He stuck out his hand and I shook it.

"Finn Hudson." He said.

"Rachel Berry." I said back.
He smiled at me and I slightly smiled back, then I turned my attention to the teacher.

"So everyone got it?" The teacher said. Wait What? Ugh that Finn boy made me miss everything he said. Damn it.

"Alright I will put you in groups of 4." The teacher said. Yay groups now someone can explain it to me.

The teacher went around the class telling people who they'd be a group with. After awhile he came to me.

"Ms. Berry you will be with Kurt, Mercedes, and Finn." He said.

Finn? Oh no! No no no. Suddenly Finn scooted his desk closer to mine with his half smile. Then two other people came over and sat by me. I'm guessing there Kurt and Mercedes.

Hi, I'm Kurt and this is Mercedes, welcome to McKinley!" He said.

I just smiled and read the paper that the teacher gave us. And shortly after we got to work.

Finn bugged me the whole time while i was trying to work. Finally the bell rang so I started to pack my stuff and I realized I was the last one out. I walked out the door only to be called by Finn. I didn't think that would happen so I got scared and started to fall, when he grabbed my arm and steadied my balance.

"Thanks." I said and started to walk away.

"Hey, wait up." He said. I didn't stop walking but of course he caught up to me.

"Where you headed to now?" He asked.

"I don't know, Spanish I think." I said.

"Let me see your schedule." Finn said while taking it from my pocket.

"Seems like we have most of the same classes." He added. Oh that's great, I nod and try to find the Spanish class.

"Uhh rachel?" He says. I turn around and see he's standing in the middle of the hall.
"Yeah?" I ask.
"Your going the wrong way."He says trying not to laugh.

I nod and stand in the middle of the hallway like an idiot because I didn't know where my class was.

"Come on, I'll show you." He said and I smiled and followed him to class.
