I'm looking at myself in the mirror. Trying to make myself presentable for a job interview with one of the most important company of the wine industry. I didn't know it was so big when I picked it. I was just interested because my professor talked to me about. It's been almost three months since the graduation and I've been offered about a hundred different jobs as a translator, but all of them seem dull. I was sitting at my desk, reading all the e-mails they have dropped. I was reading one in a hotel when I looked at the bussiness card my professor left me on the graduation. It had been sitting there ever since. It even had a little bit of dust. I took it and held it in my hand. The words he said were lingering in my brain. Call me if you need a job. Then it flashed clearly in my mind. The image of the handsome stranger. Standing there, with a black suit and his self confindence. His soflty lightly brown skin glowing with the sun. The image was gone quickly as it came. I took a deep breath and looked at the clock. It was 9:39pm. He should be up at this hour. I took the phone and marked his number. I held it tightly before making the call. I counted to 3 and called. It ringed about 3 times before he answered with concern in his voice.

"Hello?" He said after the small silence I left hanging before I brought myself to talk.

"Hey, Mr. White.. it's Naomi"

"Naomi! I'm so thrilled to hear from you!" He was screaming, i had to take the phone away from me for a minute.

"Yeah, I'm sorry to call this late..."

"No, no. It's okay, I wasn't doing anything" he sounds way too happy

"I was looking through all the jobs I've been offered, and I'm so confused about what to do"

"Oh yeah, I saw that you're very wanted. Congratulations!"

"And I jumped into yours and... I just wanted to know what is it about"

"That is so amazing! Well, your job is to be the personal assistant of the CEO of a Wine company"

"That sounds good" I'm not sure why I said that, I just know I did.

"You want me to schedule an interview? You can get informed there. Normally, students like you go through hundreds of trials but you don't have to. Your ability and cultural knowledge takes you this high."

I felt overwhelmed with the feeling of shame. Shame of not being enough and making them waste their time when there could be someone else better. I don't like being praised. I feel like I don't deserve it.

"Naomi? Are you there?" His voice was loud enough to scare my thoughts off

"Uh yeah, sorry. I went out for a moment"

"So, should I schedule the interview?"

"Yeah, please."

"Perfect! I'll give you the details on an e-mail"

And just like that, he was gone.

That night, I dreamt with him. Nothing happened. He was just there laying in bed, next to me. I looked at him and he smiled. We were divided by a very small line. He wasn't touching me but I never desired so much to be touched by someone else. The loud voice of Yadi singing some old punk rock woke me up. It wasn't the fact that she was singing. It was the fact that she was screaming on an unknown language trying to follow the lyrics of a Green Day song it was obvious she didn't know.

"What are you trying to do?" I said, sounding more angry than I actually was.

"Trying to summon you back to the real world"

"With Green Day?"

"Thought it'll be perfect"

I rolled my eyes and went under the covers again. Ugh
