Chapter 4 ¤ 'Operation Date'

As planned Mia asked her mom if they could go buy a new tub of ice cream since they had 'mysteriously' ran out. Luna stayed back with aunt Becky and carried on with the rest of their plan.

"Lunita, what are you doing?" Becky had noticed the girl carrying items towards the balcony and her room various times.

"Oh, um." Think Luna, think. "I'm just settings up a tea party so when Mia comes home, we can plays."

"And since when do you play tea party?" With an eyebrow raised and hands on her hips, Becky walked over to the balcony and gasped.

"I-I'ms sorry aunt B. I- we- this- oh nuts."

"What is this for? You going on a date or-" Then it hit her. "Lunita, what is your tricky little mind up to?"

"You's not mad?"

"Well, if this is for what I think it is, no." Becky smirked while she crouched in front of Luna. "In fact, I wanna help."

"Mama,"

"Yes nugget?"

"What's Cami's favorite ice cream?"

"Um, I'm not sure but I can ask."

Mia nodded and her mother sent a text to Camila.

Lolo🙈: hey Camz? Mia is wondering what your fav. ice cream flavor was

Camz🎀: its between banana and chocolate chip *sends kisses to Mia*

Lolo🙈: and mine?😟

Camz🎀: we havent even gone on our date yet Lauren. Maybe after 😏

"What she say mama?" Mia pulled Lauren away from taking the conversation even further.

"Oh, it's either banana or chocolate chip. Why?"

"Because, I wanted to try something new."

And just like that a small carton of chocolate chip ice cream and a tub of strawberry ice cream ended up in the cart.

"Can we get sprinkles?"

"Lunita don't ever doubt your aunt Rebbeca." Teased aunt Becky. "Now all we need is the finishing," Becky spoke while adjusting something. "touch. Walla! A perfect date setting for a perfect couple."

"Wow. Now we's need to not let mama see."

Once Lauren and Mia had come home from buying ice cream, Luna ran to her sister and the two of them spent the rest of the afternoon in their room.

Lauren on the other hand had told Camila she was going to pick her up at 6 so they could head on to dinner. At the moment she was getting ready. Since it was a fancy restaurant, she went for a simple black dress that reached her knees and was strapless, a matching black blazer on her shoulders. Black heals, and a couple of her rings finished her look and to top it off, Becky helped Lauren tame her messy waves and curled them slightly.

Over all, Lauren loved the look especially after she added some makeup to make her eyes pop out.

"Nenas, I'll be back later okay? Aunt Becky is going to be here if you need her okay?" Lauren announced from the frame of the girl's bedroom door.

"Wow mama, you's look hella nice." Luna's green eyes sparkled as she noticed her mom's look, and hazel eyes mirror the action.

"Hella? Luna, you've been hanging around Becky too much."
