I had been talking to Marshall and we agreed that he would pick me up Friday at around 6. After I got off work and picked up a bit around the house I had about an hour and a half to get ready for my date. "That is so not enough time!" I said out loud.
I took my hair out of its bun and brushed out all of it's tangles before straightening it all. I put on a mostly red, gray, and black, long sleeve, Slaughter House shirt, my favorite pair of gray skinny jeans, and a red pair of chucks. I put on mascara and eye liner and put some darker colored eye shadow on, with a deep red colored lip stick. I guess I didn't look too bad.
I grabbed my phone and some money and sat down on my couch. I had butterflies in my stomach. I hope I didn't act like an idiot. I kind of had a tendency to do that. I jumped and broke my train of thought when I heard a knock at my door.
Marshall's POV:
I was so damn nervous. I was taking Alex to a pretty nice restaurant here in town and I got to her apartment at almost 6 on the dot. I knocked at her door and waited for her to open it. When she did I just stared like a fuckin' idiot. She looked so beautiful. Man I didn't know what I was getting myself into. I told myself I wasn't ever gonna do this shit again but I couldn't help it. I really liked her already and I just met her.
"Um hey" Alex said as she giggled and looked down at the ground.
That caught my attention and I stopped staring.
"Shit, hey sorry. You look amazing!"
She blushed and gave me a beautiful smile. "So do you." She said warmly.
"You ready to go?" I asked.
She stepped out of her apartment and I took her hand a little unsure of if she wanted me to. I knew she did when she held my hand back and looked up at me.
"Absolutely."
