Okay so imagine John having this diary- i mean journal (totally not a diary ahahahaha) and he scribbles little poems in it,, like comparing ringo's blue eyes to "the sea" and his smile to "the feeling of the seeing spring after a long winter" (let me live i'm not a poet) and curious little ringo sees it on the kitchen counter (john never leaves it willy nilly) and takes a peek at it and at first it's all normal daily logs then he sEES THE POEMS and they're so fucking cute and romantic and sAPPY and john stumbles in with an "oh fuck" expression written all over his face and starts rambling about shitty excuses but ringo just gives him this angel grin and says "your poems are really cute" then proceeds to kiss the tomato-face dork on the cheek and asks him if he wants to go on a date with him and a john nods speechlessly but in reality his insides are bursting up like it was the FOURTH OF JULY
