It's a cool Thursday night. I'm in my room silently hacking into William Penn Highschool's student records. The security passwords and firewall are relatively simple to break through. I'm supposed to be studying for my Biology test tomorrow but this is much more amusing besides I already studied....for 10 minutes during study hall today. School is not my current priority. I used to be quite the student back in middle school but times change and students learn about the magnificent art of technology and hacking. My mission right now is to find out more about the new guy at school. His name is Andrew Skyward, dirty blonde hair, blue eyes, slightly tanned, lean, and tall. According to the school's files he transferred from Charlotte Royal Highschool and has an IQ of 130. A gifted. Good, this dungeon could use more brainiacs.
He is allergic to macadamia nuts and is a decent basketball player. Ugh, another basketballer is just what this place needs. I scroll through more information but I soon get tired and turn the Mac off. I attempt to fall asleep but my head is too alive. My heart is beating and the adrenaline is pulsing through my veins. I can't get Andrew out of my head which is quite strange considering I haven't even met the guy. I text Camryn, my increasingly frightening best friend, and eventually fall asleep with my phone in my hands. I have nightmares about losing Camryn, and Andrew laughing at me. I cry the whole night and wake up several times in cold sweat. At 5:48 AM I've had enough of nightmares so I go down the stairs and plop myself right on my surprisingly comfortable couch. I watch my favorite movie, Pitch Perfect until its 7:21 AM.
Then, my mom wakes up and I have to rush back to my room and pretend I'm still asleep. Lucky for me, I am a very accomplished actor. I reluctantly take a shower and get stuck in there for 10 minutes singing. I finally get out and change into my white polo, blue jeans, blue sneakers, and my favorite white sweater. I eat pancakes with maple syrup and butter and chug down a glass of milk. It's now 7:54 and my brother is just waking up.
"I don't want to go to school!" he screams but eventually he is dressed and ready to go to school.
By then it is 8:04 and I have missed the bus due to my forgettable self. I didn't remember to pack lunch. I have to ride with my dad and brother which sucks because my brother gets dropped off first and I get to school 4 minutes late.
