"And if the shape is facing the opposite direction, it's reflection," Cas was saying to his first hour class. "And if it's moved in this direction, it's called rotation," he explained, when his land-line rang for the second time that week.

He picked it up. "Hello?" He said, staring at the receiver.

"Um, hey, baby," Dean said on the other line.

Cas groaned, but he was kinda glad he had called. This class was boring even him. "What is it?" He asked.

"Hey, baby," Dean said. "I got in. I'm going to Warped Tour and I'm going to sing."

Cas's eyes widened. "Oh, my god, that's great news, baby," he winced per usual if he said Dean's name or a given nickname.

"Yeah," Dean said, sounding slightly sad. There was a brief pause before Dean said, quietly, "Do you think you can come?"

Cas pinched his lips together. He would love to come to Warped Tour. But he didn't want to miss a week of school. There would be so many papers he wouldn't be able to grade. So many papers the subs give them to stay busy. Oh, what the hell, Cas thought. I deserve a week off anyways.

"Sure, baby," he said, unwincingly. "I'll see if it's okay with the staff and if it is then I'll go."

Cas heard Dean make a happy noise as he let the good news sink in. "Okay. Okay, babe. Damn. I love you. I love you so much, you have no idea right now." He could practically hear the smile on Dean's lips. Cas smiled as well. "I'm glad to hear it. I love you, too. See you later," he said.

"Okay," Dean said, still sounding happy. "Okay, baby. Damn. I love you I love you I love you. Bye, Cas."

Cas shook his head. "I know. I love you, too, Dean. Bye."

When Cas turned back to his class, he seen they were dumbfounded.

"Uh, those papers won't do themselves," he said, quickly. "Get to work."

Most of the kids did, but he watched as one or two still looked at him. Claire and Meghan and Kenzie right out stared at him.

"Um. Mr. Novak?" Meghan said, timidly. "Who's Dean?"

Cas gave her a blank look. "He's my best friend," he said, which wasn't a lie. "It's okay to tell your friends you love them, Meghan. You tell Kenzie you love her, right?" He asked, smiling.

She nodded, timidly, looking to the side at her best friend. But the look Kenzie smiled and gave her friend a look that Dean often gave him. One that said he would love him forever and he wouldn't trade him for the world.

Cas smiled and turned back to sit down at his desk. When the hour was over and the class rushed out, he caught Meghan and Kenzie's fingers laced together. He didn't yell at them for PDA because he didn't want to embarrass them. They were trying to hide it anyways, so he pretended he didn't see a thing.

The day dragged on as long as the previous one. Friday couldn't get here sooner. Dean had texted Cas and told him that Warped Tour started Monday, so they were to leave Saturday. They had fifteen stops. The first stop was on the east coast. Florida, Tennessee, New York, Maine, Arkansas, two in Texas. Oklahoma, Arizona, Iowa, Idaho, Nevada, two in California and one in Washington. They were going to go all over the U.S.! What could be better than that? Besides, he had never actually been to Warped Tour. Cas usually made Dean take Sam and Charlie. He didn't want to ruin things for Dean. But this time he was reckless. He wanted to go with Dean and, well dammit, he was going to go.

The day ended finally and Cas couldn't wait for the weekend. He felt sort of bad, though. He would feel a little guilty for not being here for the kids. They mostly loved him as much as he loved them. He was a lenient teacher. He was nice to them. Never yelled when they misbehaved. They respected him and he respected them as well.
