They arrived at the room at 2:50 and no one was there. Cas decided to just lay on their bed and watch TV.

Dean was still being a bit distant and Cas was sick of it. He knew that it was about that girl saying that they were sick and disgusting. He hated homophobes. But Cas wanted to have fun on his time off from work. He hadn't asked for time off ever since he started there four years ago.

"Dean," Cas whined into his chest. He had been lying on there while Dean stared blankly at Steve Wilkos reruns. They hadn't bothered changing the channel. Right now some sixteen year old got pregnant and her boyfriend wasn't claiming the child. Which is almost what every Steve Wilkos episode is about.

"Yeah, Cas?" He asked, absently playing with the ends of Cas's hair which on any other occasion would turn him on but not right now.

"I . . . Where would you like to eat?" He chickened out. Dean wasn't a big talker about his feelings and Cas didn't want to push him.

He shrugged. "Wherever you want to, baby."

"Well, there's a local restaurant called Flounders maybe you might like that. There's a bar and live music there as well." He rambled on about other places to eat when Sam and Gabriel walked in, both looking a little burned from the sun.

"Where's Charlie?" Dean asked, pausing, fingers across Cas's scalp.

Sam shrugged. "No idea. I thought she'd be here. So where are we eating? I'm starving."

The four ended up eating at a local restaurant that Cas had forgotten the name to. He made the suggestion that the group go to Flounders that evening where it would be dark and fun and they could drink and listen to bad karaoke.

Cas and Dean decided to go back to the pool while Sam and Gabriel went back to the room to do Chuck knows what.

Thankfully, the girls where gone and now there were a few kids with parents scattered across the shallow end of the pool.

Dean sat on the edge and just stared at the parents and their kids.

"Cas . . ." He said, distractedly.

Castiel looked at him and interlaced his fingers with his own and looked at him expectantly.

"I . . . I think I want a kid." He looked down as if he was embarrassed about what he just admitted.

Cas stared at him as if he wasn't sure what he was saying."Th-that's great news, baby!" Secretly, Cas had been wanting a child but he didn't want to rush things, especially since Dean's father was a dead beat dad and abused him.  He didn't want Dean to feel like he would turn out the same.

"I want a baby girl, Cas. Can we have a girl?" He leaned his head on Cas's shoulder.

Cas smiled and kissed his head. "We can have a baby girl, Dean. Come June when Warped Tour ends, we can try that adoption place, you know that one? And we can get a girl." He sighed. "Dean, I can just see it now. We can use that extra room in the back for her room and we'll paint it pink. Bubble gum pink. And Charlie can help us pick out some clothes and a crib. She can have little stuffed animals . . ." He kissed his head again. "You'll make a wonderful father, Dean."

They sat by the pool and talked about the girl they wanted. And eventually (if they were ready) they would get a son, too. To play catch with and go hunting with.

The two would've talked all day long, if their toes hadn't started wrinkling up. They walked on the beach and talked some more. About everything. About names and surrogates (maybe Sam's friend Jess from Stanford would help out) and more names. Lots and lots of names.

It started getting dark around six thirty. And a little chilly as well. With their arms around their bare chests, they made their way back to the room. Cas slid the card into the slot and when he opened the door, his jaw dropped to the floor.
