Chapter 7

It has been over a week since Artemis joined the team. Wally and her are like cat and dog. It gets annoying.

Right now we are watching Kaldur and Superboy fight. Robin is off doing the Batman and Robin thing, Wally is stuffing his face while Artemis, M'gann and me are talking about stuff.

"Wait Willow, I thought you weren't going to wear the wrist brace anymore." I bring my wrist up to show her. "Robin helped me to make improvements to it. I also got one for the other hand too." It was silent until Artemis ask M'gann about boys.

"Kaldur's, nice, don't you think? Handsome. Commanding.You should ask him out." Artemis tells M'gann.

"Well little M'gann here has eyes for someone else." I tell Artemis. She smirks. "Really? Do you want to play matchmakers?" She asks me. I nod. M'gann looks like an apple because of how hard she is blushing.

"How about Artemis and Wally?" M'gann asks turning this on Artemis. I butt in. "Let's not because that is my brother."

"But come on. She's so full of passion and he is so full of-" I walk away. They giggle. I look at the match that is going down. But Superboy wins. Red Tornado comes from the hole above. Wally runs over to him.

"Do you have a mission for us?" He asks. He looks at Wally.

"Mission assignments are The Batman's responsibility." Red tells The Wally.

"Yeah. Well The Batman is with The Robin doing the dynamic duo thing in Gotham, but your headed someone right? Hot date a mission?" I roll my eyes at Wally.

"If we can be of help." Kaldur backs up Wally. Guess they want to get out of this cave. Red turns around and pulls up a picture of an old guy.

"This is Kent Nelson, a friend. He is 106 years old." Red states. I see Wally whisper to Artemis. "The guy doesn't look a day over 90."

"And he has been missing for 23 days. Kent was a charter member of the Justice Society, the precursor to your mentor's Justice League." Missing for 23 days. If I was missing for that all, Wally would have sent a search party.

"Of course. Nelson was Earth's sorcerer supreme. He was Doctor Fate." Kaldur tells us. I don't know how that is. Wally scoffs. "More like Doctor Fake." I walk over to him and slap the back of his head.

"Kent may simply be on one of his walkabouts, but he is care taker of the helmet of Fate, The source of the Doctor's mystic might, and it is unwise to leave such power unguarded." So we might have a mission.

"He's like the great sorcerer priest and priestesses of mars. I would be honored to help find him." Thanks for saying that M'gann now Wally is all the sudden like magic. Wally raises his hand.

"Me too." What did I tell you. "So honored I can barely stand it. Magic rocks." Great now we are going to get deal with this forever.

"Take this." Red takes out a key. Kaldur grabs it. "It is the key to the Tower of Fate."

"What are the chances we both admirer the mystic arts?" Wally flirts with M'gann. I look to Artemis and roll my eyes. Then we head to the bioship.

In the Bioship Artemis decided to pick through Wally's lie.

"So, Wally, When did you first realize your honest affinity for sorcery?" Artemis asks him.

"Well, I-I don't like to brag, but, uh, before I became Kid Flash, I seriously becoming a wizard myself." Wally says.

"Wally's lying." I sent Artemis through a mindlink. She looks at me and nods. She found out about my powers when I was trying to Density shift. This time through a chair. I got stuck, again.
