Chris
I followed Grace around Mothercare with my hands in my pockets. It's been at least two months since I returned from staying with Uncle Marik, and life since then hasn't been too bad. In that space of two months I'd secured a job, was in a stable relationship with a girl that I love, and we we're expecting a baby. I literally couldn't ask for anything more.
Before I was stupid and I panicked; kept running away to escape the issues of commitment and fatherhood, but now I've realised it was better to face things head-on, stay strong for Grace and our unborn child, and be a man for once.
I wasn't going to mess around anymore; I was prepared to raise a family. Plus, Rebecca had cussed me enough for being a 'fuckboy' and leaving Grace by herself on more than one occasion. She was absolutely right, though.
It was payday. I wanted to treat Grace to a meal and take her shopping. As soon as we left Harvester, she immediately wanted to buy more things for the baby. Only problem was, we didn't exactly know the sex yet, and Grace didn't want to know. In Mothercare, she picked up another unisex set and placed it in the basket, her eyes lit with excitement.
All I could do was observe her with a smile on my face: she was so cute when she got excited. Her belly was growing, but she was still slim, surprisingly. Grace was already five months, and it was beginning to show. Her attitude had changed drastically, especially towards me. She had gradually become more patient and endearing with me, and she was comfortable enough around me to wear maternity clothes. We were still working on our relationship, but things were getting better. I already knew that I wanted to spend the rest of my days with her. Our next step is to rent a flat and live together. From there we could work towards marriage and continuing to grow our family. Thinking about it made me grin like an eediat.
"What do you think?" Grace asked, turning to me with a cream pramsuit. I chuckled at how cute and fluffy it was.
"I like it," I said.
She smiled and popped it in the basket. "So glad they've got a sale on."
I watched as she approached the prams. "Did you want to get one today?"
Grace shook her head. "Just looking."
The prices made my eyes widen. "£695 for a common black pushchair?"
She laughed. "It's good quality."
I raised a brow. If this is the type of buggy Grace was looking for, I might need to rob a bank.
My phone started vibrating. I looked at the screen and grimaced. Of all the times for him to call me, this was possibly the worst. Whenever he called, nothing good came out of it.
I answered hesitantly and waited for him to speak.
"Chris," his voice thudded.
"Yeah?"
"Where are you?"
"Out at the moment." The suspicion was rapidly growing. "Why?"
I could almost hear Uncle Marik smile through the phone. "I need you to do something for me."

The sun shone through the gaps of the blinds, illuminating the room and causing my eyelids to flutter. My body was rocking somehow: I felt a pressure in my lower stomach and a clenching tightness south of my body. I moaned quietly, panting softly, too tired to try and figure out what the pleasurable feeling was. There was a body connecting with mine and weight on top of me. I finally opened my eyes and realised I was on my stomach with Kayden thrusting into me in a sensually slow rhythm. I groaned and tried to get up, but he gripped my wrists and pinned them behind my back, not halting his movements.
