-Chibita's POV-

I left the hospital a few hours after Karamatsu fell asleep. The nurse told me he would be out for about one more hour, and that's plenty of time to get my point across.

I approached the Matsuno household, anger building up inside with every step I took. I don't know why this bothered me as much as it actually did. I raised my fist, but before I could knock, the door slid open and the brothers walked out in their robes.

"Oh, hi Chibita!" Choromatsu said kindly. I smacked them all in one miraculous swing.

"Don't you 'hi' me, damn it! You're all disgusting! You call Todomatsu a dried-up monster, when in reality, you're ALL dried-up monsters!" I shouted. They all stared at me, confused.

"Why are you calling us that? We haven't done anything," Osomatsu spoke up. I grumbled a little.

"Count yourselves," I growled. He proceeded to count everyone, including himself.

"No, it looks like we're all here,"

"What about Karamatsu?!"

"Who's Karamatsu?" Ichimatsu mumbled.

"YOUR MISSING BROTHER!!" I shouted. They all took a step back. Jyushimatsu jumped up.

"I told you guys something was missing!" Jyushimatsu said, loudly. That was some passive aggressive comment.

"Mm, I had a feeling something wasn't right," Todomatsu said. I could feel the plastic dripping from his words.

"You guys didn't even bother to ask around! Your brother could've died, and you didn't even care to look or even ask someone!"

"W-Wait, he could've...died?" Choromatsu's voice cracked a little. I fumed when I saw Ichimatsu begin to dance. Choromatsu punched him on top of the head.

"Stop it!" he then turned back to me. "We had no idea! Where is he?"

"He's in the hospital now, but I doubt he'll want to see you guys after what you did, rather what you didn't do."

"At least let us see Karamatsu-niisan!" Jyushimatsu cried. I sighed and tapped my foot.

"Alright. But you better have a story planned."

I led them all to the hospital. I opened his door and peeked in. Good, he was still asleep. I turned back to the brothers.

"Keep quiet. He's still sleeping," I allowed them in and they followed close behind me. I sat in my chair at his bedside. I felt the feeling of guilt hang in the air.

"Oh my god..." Choromatsu whispered, gazing at his injured brother.

"He's really banged up..." Osomatsu added.

"Mm." Ichimatsu simply mumbled, but I could see the pity in his eyes.

"I wish we knew sooner..." Todomatsu wiped a tear from his eye.

"Karamatsu-niisan..." Jyushimatsu sniffled. He crawled in bed next to Karamatsu and curled up, crying slightly. Karamatsu stirred slightly, the slight gap between his lips closing. He mumbled deeply and opened his eye slowly. His brothers stood around him, waiting with anticipation. His brown eye scanned his brothers.

"Good, he's awake," Choromatsu sighed.

"Eh...?" Karamatsu squinted. Jyushimatsu hugged him tightly, resulting in Karamatsu yelping in pain.

"Oh, sorry niisan! I'm just so happy to see you're alive," Jyushimatsu cheered.

"You're...all here...all of you," Karamatsu's eye shifted over to Ichimatsu, who avoided the gaze of his older brother. Karamatsu gently pushed himself up in his bed.

"Yeah, well, we really wanted to see you!" Osomatsu smiled, wiping under his nose. Karamatsu gave an unimpressed look.

"Yeah! We were really worried about you!" Choromatsu piped in. In all honesty, he's probably the only brother that actually cares, even if it is the slightest bit.

"We're glad to see that you're okay, Karamatsu-niisan," Todomatsu smiled. Jyushimatsu gave Karamatsu another hug.

"We care about you!"

"You guys..." Karamatsu started. All the brothers smiled at him.

"You guys really expect me to believe all of that?"
Their smiles quickly disappeared.

"What do you mean?" Choromatsu questioned. I felt the tension in the room quickly tighten.

"If you really cared, you would've noticed sooner. If you really cared, you wouldn't have needed Chibita to be the one to tell you. If you really cared, you would've been by my side," I watched the tears well up in his eye.

"But you don't care. I was just forcing myself to believe otherwise. With the events that happened, I could've died. If said incident were to take place, you still wouldn't care. All that would matter is you were getting a break from your painful, annoying, shitty brother."

None of the brothers replied. They just stood in silence, shock was written all over their faces.

"I think it would be best if you left my room. You can go home and continue ignoring me," Karamatsu finished, a tear rolling down his cheek. I looked up at the brothers as they said nothing. They all slowly turned to walk out of the room. I have never seen this side of Karamatsu, and it's a little scary, because obviously they haven't either. The door slowly closed, and I heard the faint sniffles of one of the brothers. Who it was, I'll never be able to tell. I turned back to Karamatsu, who was trying his best not to show his emotions.

"You don't have to pretend anymore, you know," I said. He looked up at me, then quickly back out the window. I couldn't tell if he was more angry or sad.

"They probably won't come back," he finally said.

"If they want to prove you wrong, I'm sure they will," I replied. He let out a clicking sound.

"Yeah right. If that happens, drinks are on me," I watched as the slightest smirk ghosted over his lips. I couldn't help but smile.

"Get some rest, ya idjit," I smiled. He nodded and scooted back down in his bed. I left when he fell asleep and returned home, hoping for the best to come out of this situation.
