Kamigami No Asobi: Phoenix Drop Trouble

Protection of the People

We got closer and closer to the dock and it looked like there was an attack not to long ago.

"What happened here? We were only gone for an hour!" Malachi exclaims.

"Kelly, Nekkotte keep the young children on this boat. Don't let anyone touch them." I say and jump off of the ship into the water and swam towards the shore. I ran up to the beach and saw signs of an attack. The gods, my friends, family, and I ran into the village to help out if we needed to. there was stuff knocked over and fires close by houses.

"Help! Help!" I hear a young child call out for help and I ran towards the screams. A young child was surrounded by guards.

"Tell us where she is!" A guard yells at the child and holds the child's shirt.

"I don't know who you're talking about! Please let me go!" The child begs.

"Humph. A young child always lies. He does know who she is and where she is. Torture him." A man with armor on, but no helmet. The child screams and I saw blood on a guard's sword.

"Now. Tell us where she is!!! I know you know!!!! Tell us or you die!!!" The man yells in the child's face.

"I don't know!!!! I don't!!!" The child tells him.

"*sigh* I hate children who lie." And the man lifts up his sword and I run over and turn into a Shadow Knight and block the strike.

"You don't touch the kid. Or you'll die." I say and the man smirks.

"Looks like we have a strong one on our hands. You think you're tough? You thought wrong." He slashes at me and I grab his sword while it was traveling towards me.

"No, I think it was the other way around." I say and kick him across the street. And slash the guards surrounding me. The man gets back up, but I put him in a position where he couldn't move.

"Now leave. I don't want to see you or your guards around her EVER again." I say and he swallows hard and starts to sweat in fear.

"Yes, ma'am!" I move my sword and pick him up and push him towards the gate.

"Now go!" I yell and him and the rest of his guards run off. The others run towards me while I check on the young child.

"Are you okay, Buddy?" I ask him.

"Y-Y-Y-Yes ma'am. Thank you!" The young child stutters.

"No problem. Don't let anyone pick on you like that. It's not very nice of them." I smile and help up the kid and he smiles back at me.

"I won't! Oh and by the way, my name is Alejandro!" Alejandro tells me.

"It's nice to meet you, Alejandro. My name is Fae." I tell him and his eyes widen.

"Fae? Like the Phoenix Drop goddess of Shadow? Fae the Dark Warrior? Fae the Dark Fairy? Fae the Shadow Sword? Fae the Forcible?!" Alejandro asks me.

"All of them." I answer and he smiles big.

"WOW! Fae the Phoenix Drop goddess of Shadows just saved me! Thanks a whole bunch!" He thanks me and runs off and I wave him goodbye.

"Wow. He was excited that you saved him. And why was that man confronting him about some girl?" Loki asks me.

"I don't know. But a guard injured the kid so I had to stand up for him." I say and Loki kisses my forehead. I turn around and a man with blonde hair and lord's clothing on walking with a woman with peach hair and had a peach dress on and Alejandro walking on the other side of the man walking towards me.

"Where's Fae the Forcible, Alejandro?" The man asks Alejandro.

"She's right there! Standing next to the guy with red hair!" Alejandro points towards me.

"By the name of Irene. Fae, it's been a while since I've seen you." The man says and he walks towards me.

"Do I know you?" I ask him and get ready to draw my sword.

"You probably don't know me. But, um I'm Levin the Lord of Phoenix Drop. I'm Carmen's uncle. That's my wife Alexis and Alejandro is my son." Levin introduces us.

"I know your face, but I never knew your name. It's very nice to meet you, Sir." I bow before him in front of Loki and knew he was staring at my ass. When I stood back up I slapped Loki.

"I knew you were staring Loki." I tell him and he wraps his arm around me.

"You don't need to be so polite. You saved my son's life. We weren't expecting such an attack. The Tu'la region has been on our tail lately about handing over the girl that we found at the Irene church." Levin says.

"Annaliese?" I turn around and see Annaliese walking off of the dock towards Isabelle and Zoey.

"Why would they want Annaliese?" I ask him.

"We aren't sure why. We were hoping while you guys were here, you could help us figure this situation out." Levin requests and I sigh.

"I'll do anything for my little sister." I say and Loki smiles.

"I would also do anything for that cracker." Loki says and I laugh.

"We'll all help, Uncle Levin." Carmen says and Levin smiles.

"Thank you all. We'll have dinner at the town square and discuss this there. I don't want to distress the young children. Alejandro always knows what's going on since he's my apprentice and my son. He also gets the messages." Levin explains.

"Alejandro, I know what it feels like to be an apprentice." I comment and they look at me weird.

"How do you know about being an apprentice?" Alejandro asks me.

"I'm the apprentice of the Shadow Lord my older brother Laurance, for the leader of the Jury of Nine my other older brother DJ, for the Divine Warriors, and for my mother to have wolves obey." I explain.

"Wow! That sounds like a lot." Alejandro comments.

"It is. I mean I'm already a goddess, but I'm not an apprentice for anything like that." I tell him and he smiles.

"Again. Fae, thank you a whole bunch. We hope that you all can help us with the problems with Tu'la." Levin says and I smile.

"Of course. I will help protect this place like it's my own home." I say back and he smiles.

"Dinner is tonight at the Town Square at 7:00. Be there and look nice." Levin says and him and Alejandro start to walk away.

"Alexis dear, are you coming?" Levin asks his wife.

"Uh yes! I'll be right there. I want to talk to Fae in private." Alexis says and she takes my hand and drags me to a house and Loki stays outside.

"Why do you want to talk to me in private?" I ask her.

"There's something you should know about your sister." Alexis says and I begin to shake.
