Wedding Part 3: Big Day

(TIME SKP TO THE WEDDING DAY----)

The girls and I sit in Alexis and Levin's home getting ready and waiting for everyone to be seated. All of the bridesmaids got ready first then had to help the bride. I had to block the entrance and make sure everyone was seated. Victoria did Lauren's makeup, Tavisha did her hair, Carmen and Kaylee picked out her shoes, and Zahra had to add finishing touches to Lauren.

"You ready Lauren? You're marrying my 3rd cousin!" Carmen asks and I smile.

"I am very excited, but I'm worried how Fae will react without her brother not being around her all of the time." Lauren says and I get off of the wall near the door and walked over to Lauren and hugged her.

"You've been welcomed to this family for fourteen years. I trust you enough to be with my brother. It'll just be hard to get used to. Having my first sister in law. And will probably be an aunt and/or be a godmother. It's just part of life that I have to get used to." I say and Lauren smiles.

"Thank you, Fae. And do you know the song 'A Thousand Years'?" Lauren asks me and I smile.

"I know that song like the back of my hand. Why, do you want me to sing it?" I ask and walk back over to the wall I was leaning on.

"Yes. Can you?" Lauren asks me and I smile.

"Of course. Anything for my brother and future sister in law." I say and someone knocks on the door. I stand in front of the door and open it and see Zenix.

"Hello, Zenix. Why are you here?" I ask him and put my hand behind my back.

"Well since Lauren's father still didn't show up, Julia asked me to please walk her down the aisle." He explains and I look over at Lauren and she looked disappointed in her father.

"He's probably sleeping with a girl or he's just a dick enough not to come." I say and see Lauren looking upset. I move to the side and let Zenix walk in and talk to Lauren. She hugged Zenix and he walked back to the door and I stopped him.

"What did you say to her?" I ask him and he sighs.

"Since her father hasn't been there for her since she was fourteen, I told her that Laurance would replace him for her. He hasn't been there for her EVER. And I knew since he got Julia pregnant that he would never be there for her. And he hasn't. I had to leave my job to help out Julia and try to chase away Lauren's father and never could. That's why I'm always with her. I had to replace her dad in order for her to have a male figure in her life." Zenix explains and I let him go through the door.

"Lauren, I'll be right back. I need to go talk to a few people." I say and leave the dressing room to the hill where Irene's statue was. I stand in front of the statue and get on my knees and a negative aura left me.

"Annaliese, can you see that your uncle is getting married to Lauren today? I'm very excited to be the maid of honor and to sing in front of everyone for them. I'm nervous about what will happen after that. I REALLY don't want Laurance to leave, but it's part of life. He's supposed to leave and we're all supposed to move on and watch these kind of things happen. *sniffle* I just don't want anything to happen to either of them. I love Laurance as a brother and he's my best friend, but I need to let him go. My parents already did and DJ did, but I can't. He was the only one able to get me out of my trance three years ago. And I can never forget that. But being honored to be in this wedding is everything to me. We all leave the nest, we all get in relationships, we all get married, we all have kids, we all grow old, and die old. That's what I hope for everyone. To find the person that loves them the most and they die with that person. I hope you'll enjoy the ceremony." I say and get up and turn around and see Loki at the steps.
