Wedding Part 2: News about Annaliese

Loki held my hand as him and I walked to the docks to see my parents. Laurance and DJ were walking in front of us and led us to the docks. As we got closer and closer I got more nervous and nervous each step. I kept on breathing very heavily and felt like I was going to pass out every time we get closer. I tighten my grip on Loki's hand and he has us stop walking.

"Fae, you've never been so nervous. Ever! So why now?" Loki asks me and Laurance and DJ stop walking and wait for us.

"I don't know. Maybe because Annaliese had just died two weeks ago, our unborn baby died, and Annaliese was my descendant! This is gonna hit them hard, Loki. I just can't do it." I say and put my head down. Loki puts his hand under my chin and has me look back up at him and he smiles then kisses me.

"Your brother is about to get married. You're going to sing at a wedding. You're the maid of honor to the wedding. We get to do Cinderella again! Don't let this one thing bring you down, Fairy. Come on, I'll be by your side." Loki says and we start walking again. Laurance and DJ knew about what happened two weeks ago with the pregnancy, Annaliese dying, and her being my descendant, it hasn't been easy for my family. We all miss her and I hate giving my parents bad news. We got to the docks and Laurance and DJ hugged my parents first.

"There's my groom!! Are you excited, Lord Laurance?" My mom asks Laurance and he smiles at her.

"Actually, Mom. Very. I'm excited about marrying the girl that I've known since I was eight." Laurance answers and my mom smiles.

"Who's your best man?" My dad asks.

"DJ is. Him and Fae will be dancing together. As always." Laurance comments and I awkwardly laughed.

"Every wedding that those two were on, they always dance together!" My mom comments and I look down.

"Hey, it'll be alright. We'll tell them later. Just have a nice little family reunion." Loki whispers to me and I smile at him.

"Fae, I didn't get a hug from you yet! Come here, Fairy!" My mom says and I walk over to her and Dad and hug them.

"Hey are you alright, Fairy? You haven't been acting yourself." My dad comments and I look over at Loki and he walks next to me.

"She's fine. Something happened a couple weeks ago and she's still healing from it. How are you guys doing though?" Loki asks. I was happy he was there because he could cover me up when I needed it. And right now was one of those moments.

"We've been great! We're planning a trip on a cruise for our 23 year anniversary." My mom says and she hugs Loki.

"Oh yeah! I forgot!" I say and slap my forehead.

"What's that on your finger?" My mom asks and grabs my hand and takes a look at it.

"Um Loki and I are engaged." I answer and my mom squealed with happiness.

"Congratulations! Dmitri did you know?" My mom asks my dad and he's smiling and he wraps his arm around me and I hug him.

"Yeah. Before Fae went outside to get on the bus with Annaliese and Loki, he asked me these exact words. 'Mr. Von Ronsenberg, I love your daughter more than the world and my home. I was heartbroken before, and your daughter healed it for me. I wanted to ask your permission to make her my wife and be with me till the day we die. So, can I propose to your daughter?' He asked me and Fae and Annaliese walked outside and they started leaving until I grabbed Loki's arm and he looked at me with fear and I tell him. 'You make my daughter look like she's the only girl in the world and you take care of her better than any of her other boyfriends do. You always make her the happiest girl everyday and more. Of course I'll let you marry my daughter.' I tell him and he smiles and shakes my hand and runs off to the bus. I knew he was going to make you the happiest girl after that." My dad explains and I begin to tear up. I hug my dad then run over to Loki and hug him.
