Doctor Lee Chae-lin is standing outside the glass prison, arms crossed and a cruel smirk on her face.
"Who's she?" Kaylin whispers, N ignores her.
"Dr. Lee, you're not supposed to be back here," he starts, she chuckles.
"Good thing I am," she says as her eyes narrow, "Or else I would've never discovered this act of terrorism."
"Chae-lin, you know very well this isn't terrorism," another voice says, Jiyong comes out of the shadows, "They just... moved ahead in the project. That's their job."
"We still have to authorize it," Chae-lin counters cruelly. Jiyong is silent, he clearly knows when he's beat, "Now, go get security like a good boy."
Jiyong looks at them and mouths, 'I tried, sorry,' before slipping away.
"I was curious as to why this room was always off limits to us," she continues, pacing the floor, "Now I know."
She glares at N and Kaylin. While N stands his ground, Kaylin cowers away. Chae-lin laughs again.
"And you couldn't even make her right!" She cackles.
"She's not a cyborg."
Her laughter stops, "What do you mean she's not a cyborg. Of course she is!"
"It's illegal to make cyborgs. But there are no rules about wiring a human with bionics. They are, in fact, two different things."
"You're lying. I heard you talking," she scoffs, "Besides, you've been locked under the grid for so long now you don't know all the rules anymore."
Chae-lin starts to stride up to the door
"Princess, she's gonna try to lock us in here," N whispers hurriedly, "Call the others and tell them to get ready to run. Just as she arrives, go and take them with you."
"What about you?"
He takes her hand and squeezes it. She sends the message quickly.
'Hongbin, Wonshik, Hyuk, when I say run. Follow me.'
'Why?' Hyuk's voice is scared.
'Just do it, we're in danger!'
"Don't think of me princess, just run. And don't look back."
She nods and he kisses her forehead.
'Ready?'
'When you say.' Hongbin.
'I guess.' Hyuk.
'Somebody drag me because I'll miss it.' Ravi jokes.
'I won't have a problem with that.' Hongbin hisses.
"Aw, isn't that sweet," Chae-lin scoffs, reaching for the doorway. Without warning, Kaylin runs faster than she thought possible.
'Now!'
She pushes a surprised Chae-lin out of the way. She hears the others as she sprints down the hall to where she knew an exit was. By N's room. She forces it open and she and the others disappear as alarms begin to sound.
