Chapter 12 part 1

Gia's POV:

I slowly turned around and met face to face with none other than the man I had been running from for years. My breath caught in my throat as every emotion hit me at once.

"What? Nothing to say to your old man?" My father questioned with a wicked smirk.

"What are you doing here." I said in more of a statement then a question.

"Visiting my beloved family of course!" He responded sarcastically. "The same loving family that put me in jail to rot for all of my life," He added while grabbing my wrist and twisting it forcefully. I yelped out in pain and tried to let loose of his grip, but it was too strong.

"Stop fucking crying Gia. That's all you ever did as a kid. I see you haven't changed." My father said letting go of my wrist and pushing me to the ground.

"Still beating on females I see? Looks like you haven't changed either." I spat back with anger. I instantly regretted what I said as I felt a hard kick to my side.

"Shut your fucking mouth! Sounding more and more like your mother by the minute!" He yelled while kicking me with every word. Physical pain began to spread through out my entire body as I laid helpless.

"Get your hands off of her!" A familiar voice yelled from the doorway. I looked up making my eyes meet with Princeton's chocolate brown eyes as he stared at me with a concerned look on his face.

"Oh! Well if isn't the gay bitch from Mindless Behavior!" My father said while laughing and drawing his attention to Prince.

"I'm only going to ask you once. Get out and leave this family only." Prince said sternly.

"This family happens to be mine so why don't you fucking leave before I make you!" My father responded while pulling out a pistol. My eyes widened and jaw dropped as Prince responded.

"I'm not afraid of you, because I'm not afraid of death." Prince said, not flinching once. "But you better not put your hands on my girl."

"She's my daughter, I do what I want." My father responded.

"I don't care if she is your daughter! She's the girl that I LOVE and I won't let you hurt her. Kill me, not her." Prince responded getting emotional. My mouth dropped as the words "love" left his mouth. Prince loves me? L-O-V-E love?

"Is this what you came here for? To kill me" I said with a shaky voice still moaning in pain.

"Of course not darling." He responded simply while drawing his attention back to me.

"Why..." I said slowly. "Why do have to be like this." I said beginning to sob.

"Be like what." My father demanded back.

"All Jackson and I ever wanted...all we ever needed was a dad. A dad that's there to tuck you in at night. A

dad that makes you feel safe and sound. A dad that's always there when we look back. A dad that loved us...just as much as we loved him." I said quietly still sobbing.

"So before I die here tonight. Please tell me...tell why you have to be like this. What did I ever do to make you hate me so much!" I said while standing up now looking him right in the eye. I watched as my fathers face hardened and knew I upset him even more.

"I never wanted you and I never wanted Jackson. But your fucking mother being the little slut she is messed with the condom. So yeah, I beat her. Yeah, I made her become a prostitute. She deserved it! And yeah, I beat you! Cause I never wanted you! I still don't want you! No one would ever want you!" My father shouted while getting in my face. I felt like someone was stabbing me a thousand times the words hurt so badly.

"That's not true. I want her. I need her. It's a shame your too blind to see that you're pushing away the most beautiful person inside and out there is. Who could ever hate there own flesh and blood as much as you do. You're sick!" Prince said while rushing over to me, holding me as I sobbed uncontrollable. Suddenly, my father raised the gun once more and I watched with horror as if it were slow motion. The sound of the gun went off and soom everything went black.
