chapter 11: Leave Her Alone!

Hey guys last chapter was pretty funny when Aaron and Mason scared the crap out of everyone huh? Well this chapter is going to be just as crazy. But this time it's at a party. While Lauren learns the life of a party animal. She also makes new friends. Bye. ;)

"A party?"

"Yes it's going to be awesome. And your going." Mason replies.

Its been a week since the day the power went out and I have my sling off now. The doctor said it was safe to take it off. And Mason just told me about some party tonight and that I have to go. I've never been to a party and I don't know what it will be like so I'm not so excited about it. I would most likely be bored because I don't know what to do.

"Well I don't know." I say.

"Don't worry. It's loads of fun. I promise." He says.

Ah what the hell. I'll just go to the party. I mean everyone seems to love them so what's so bad about going?

"Okay I'll go." I say.

"That's the spirit! Okay so it's tomorrow and Aaron is driving all of us. Be ready at six." He says and then walks out the door.

I head to my room. What do I even wear? I have no experience at all with parties. I'm going to end up wearing the wrong thing and embarrassing myself.

"Mom!" I yell.

After a few moments she arrives at my door.

"Ya?"

"I was invited to this party and I have no clue what I should be wearing." I tell her.

"Okay well you have to make a choice first. Dress or no dress?" She asks.

"No dress." I reply. If I'm going to a party with a lot of people around, I want to be comfortable.

"Okay." She searches through my closet and comes out with an outfit.

She lays it on my bed and I have a good look at it. She picked out some light blue skinny jeans, and a loose black laced tank top with a large hole in the back that my hair would probably cover anyway.

"Thanks mom. Looks good to me." I told her and gave her a hug.

"Anything to help you impress Aaron." She says with a smirk.

She keeps teasing me about Aaron. But I actually like Aaron compared to all the other guys she ships me with. Something makes me happy that she ships me with him.

I'm pretty sure I like Aaron already but I know that he probably doesn't like me back. But if I have to live my life just being friends with him I'm okay with that. Aaron's an awesome person and I'm happy even if we're just friends.

"Spaghetti let's go we're going to be late!" Aaron yells from downstairs.

"Don't rush me!" I yell back.

All the guys minus my brother are waiting downstairs for me so we can go to the party. I just need to finish one more eyelash and.. there I'm ready to go.

I walk downstairs and Aaron who has been waiting for three minutes picks me up over his shoulder and rushes out the door.

"Bye Ms. Gates, I'll have her home before twelve!" He yells as he exits the house.

I hear my mom laugh from inside before he closed the door and I know what she's thinking.

He puts me down next to the car and he opens my door for me.
