Lots of stuff happened guys. But start getting prepared as Lauren's mom talks more about her dad and Lauren discovers new things she never new. It's a short chapter but it's a good one.

---------------------------------------------------------

Mason told Aaron about his girlfriend and he didn't think of him any differently. I knew his friends would understand. Anyway Ashley is coming today and we all agreed to help out with the date. Me and Aaron are helping prepare a decent meal at Mason's house for them to take out on the lake with them, and Ben is down at the lake right now getting the boat. Everything seems to be in order so what could possibly go wrong?

'Ding dong'

Mason runs to the front door and looks out the peephole.

"She's here early!" He whisper yells to us.

I don't see what's wrong with that. I kinda want to meet the girl that was crazy enough to date Mason. I run over to the front door. I reach for the handle.

"No! Don't open it!" Mason whisper yells at me.

He seems really nervous. But I really want to meet her. I open the door and I see a beautiful girl with perfectly curled blonde hair and brown eyes. She was absolutely gorgeous. But what was she doing with a guy like Mason? Not saying Mason is not attractive, he is very attractive, but he is kind of an idiot.

"Hi nice to meet you. I'm Lauren." I smile.

"Hi I'm Ashley. Are you Mason's way of telling me he wants to break up because he found another girl?" She asks a little worried.

"What? Oh no, we're just friends." I answer. "Mason had me help plan your date because he wanted it to be absolutely perfect." I say.

Mason then comes out from behind the door.

"Mason!" She yells and hugs him. "I missed you so much!"

Mason looks a little surprised but then he wraps his arms around her and he seems to be more relaxed.

"I missed you too." He said with a sweet genuine smile as he held her in the hug.

Aw this is so sweet. It's probably a little wierd that I am staring though. But it's so cute! I decided to go back to the kitchen and let the two get all caught up. I still needed to finish helping Aaron anyway. I get to the kitchen and Aaron had already finished.

"Awesome. They're going to love it." I say with a smile.

Aaron was smiling too.

"Yep. You did a great job planning this date Spaghetti." He says.

"I know I did." I say with a victorious smirk.

****

Me and Aaron headed to where Ben was with the boat. We loaded everything on and put the boat in the water. We tied it to a post so it wouldn't float away and our work was done. Mason and Ashley would be on their way soon and they would have their perfect date. Ben left as soon as we finished. Me and Aaron stayed and examined our work.

"Come on." Aaron says suddenly taking my hand and pulling me along with him.

"Where are we going?" I ask but he doesn't answer.

He keeps walking with my hand in his. I love it when he holds my hand. It makes me feel all warm and happy inside. We walk along the edge of the lake till we reach an opening. There was a large blanket spread out on the grass and a picnic basket. Aaron walks me over to it and we sit down.

"This is so cool." I say smiling.

This is pretty cool. I have always loved picnics. How did he know? Maybe Aaron can read minds like I had predicted.
