Author's Note: Oh my god you guys, I am SO SO SO sorry for basically going MIA. I'm not dead, I'm okay. I had a lot of stuff going on and needed a break. That break was longer than expected though. But thank you to everyone who stayed with me and all my new followers. I love you all. I hope I can make up for it with a little bit of jealousy from our favorite Jacob Frye. Sorry for any any mistakes, I'm very tired.

"You're joking."

"No I'm not! I'm being serious! Would I ever lie to you?"

"Well... No. At least I hope not."

"(Y/N), I wouldn't, I'm completely serious! Haven't you noticed the way he looks at you?"

"Now that you mention it, I suppose he's been acting a bit different... But are you sure Evie?"

"Yes, I'm sure, he's totally and utterly in-" The female assassin was cut off suddenly.

"Hello dearest sister, (Y/N), what are you both talking about?" You swear your heart skipped a beat as soon as the British assassin showed up, smirk on his lips. His eyes connected with yours and you could see the mischievous glint in them.

Beside you, Evie leaned forward, resting her elbows on her knees. She glanced at you for a moment and she flashed you a look you knew all too well. A look that practically said, "Just watch and play along, you'll see"

"Nothing much," She replied, looking back at her brother, "just talking about how fond Henry is of (Y/N) here." A tiny, subtle grin appeared on her face and you realized what she was doing.

Jacob cocked an eyebrow, his gaze flickering between you and his sister. He seemed to think for a moment before replying.

"Is that so? I was unaware, I thought he was all over you, Evie." He eventually said, nonchalantly,

Evie shrugged, "I thought so as well, but I talked to him earlier and he confessed. To be honest, I think they'd make a cute couple. What do you think of him, (Y/N)?" She asked looking at you.

"I think he's very... kind," you struggled to find the right words, "I wouldn't mind getting to know him better."

Jacob just rolled his eyes and huffed at your comment. This caused both you and Evie to look over.

"What?" Asked Evie.

"Nothing, I just don't see why you'd want to do that. I mean, not that there's anything wrong with it, I just..." He trailed off, noticing that he was rambling and he didn't want to say too much. His dark eyes dropping to floor, suddenly finding it quite interesting.

You gave the assassin a confused look, even though you knew perfectly well what was going through his mind.
"You just...?" You prompted him to continue. His eyes snapped up to meet yours.

"Nothing." He said after a moment. "Forget I ever said anything. I'll be out if you need me." He tipped his top hat down over his eyes and vanished from the train as quickly as he appeared. Once you were sure he was gone you looked over at Evie.

"Damn, you were right!"

"I told you!" She faked exasperation, and then laughed. "You should go after him. If I know my brother he'll be at a pub either drinking or starting a fight. So I'd hurry." You laughed.

"He'll probably be doing both." You replied, standing up. "But thanks Evie, if I wasn't sure about Jacob being totally jealous before, I am now."

Evie stood as well, laughing with you.
"Yes, that's Jacob, now go, before he gets himself into any trouble." She gave you a light pat on the back and you nodded.

----

After a little while of searching you finally found him. You pushed your way past the people in the pub and placed a gentle on his shoulder. Startled, Jacob turned around to see you. His eyes brightened for a moment until he remembered the conversation from earlier.

"Shouldn't you be with Henry?" He asked, his tone slightly bitter.

"That was joke Jacob, Henry isn't fond of me in that way at all, he still very much has his eye on Evie." You answered, grinning. The assassin narrowed his eyes for a moment, processing what you just said.

"It was Evie's idea wasn't it? She knew I was jealous." He mumbled, half to you, half to himself. You giggled at him, moving your hand from his shoulder to his cheek, stroking it softly.

"Yes, it was her idea." You replied, "Sorry." You offered a smile which the assassin gladly returned. He placed his hand over yours, and moved it, guiding it to his lips where he pressed a kiss to your open palm.

"It's fine." He said, letting go of your hand to grab your waist. He suddenly pulled you into his lap. "That means you're all mine now." He whispered into your ear, pressing light kisses to your neck. You leaned back into him enjoyed the feeling of his hands on waist and his lips on your skin. He pulled away after a moment and you both sat, content with listening to the rest of people laugh and talk. Because you knew, eventually it would just be the two of you alone, enjoying each other's company.
