Author's Note: Oh. My. God. I had realized that I hadn't anything about Connor! I feel so bad for neglecting him, but he'll get so much love to make up for it! Hope you all enjoy, love you guys! Sorry for any mistakes.

You were startled out your peaceful state when your beloved assassin stormed into your shared room. Your head snapped up to look at him and your eyes softened sympathetically as you took in his disheveled appearance. You jumped up from the bed when you noticed that his hand was clutching his side. Sighing, you told him to sit, which he did without complaint. Not much was said between the two of you as you worked him out of his robes and started patching him up. A whispered quick words of apology whenever he winced or hissed in pain and you cleaned the blood from the wound. You then began to stitch it up. Satisfied with your work you sat back looking for other injuries on his body.

You didn't find anything too serious other than a few cuts on his face and arms which you cleaned with haste. The entire time Connor avoided your gaze and kept quiet. You hated when he did this, and you wished he'd open up and talk to you. Now completely finished with tending to him you stayed on your knees in front of him, hoping he'd say something. When he didn't you placed a hand on his which caused him to finally look at you.

He looked tired and you didn't blame him. Again you sighed and lowered your gaze, cursing yourself for not finding anything to say. You were surprised as you felt his hand on your cheek, sliding down to lift your chin so your gaze could meet his again.

"I'm sorry for coming back like this... again." He said slowly and softly. You offered the Native American assassin a small smile.

"It's okay," You answered, "as long as you do keep coming back to me alive." You moved your hand from his knee to his face, caressing his cheek gently. He gazed at you steadily with those warm chocolate colored eyes that you adore so much.

"I promise I'll always come back to you." He said, his hand falling from your chin to cover your own hand on his cheek.

"Good." You replied, your smile growing. You slipped your hand out from under his and took both of his in yours. Curiously he watched you stand up, lightly tugging on his hands as you did so. Taking the hint, he stood as well. You placed his hands on your hips and wound your arms over his shoulders.

"Because if you didn't come back," You started, "I don't know what I'd do." You showered his face with light kisses, causing the assassin to smile as well. His grip tightened and pulled you closer to him. You slid your hands down to his chest which was still bare and savored how warm his skin was. Again you placed kisses to his cheeks until you pressed your lips against his. You were pleased when he returned the kiss, knowing that he really wasn't one for affection, but in all honesty he was like a big cuddly but dangerous teddy bear.

"I love you Connor." You whispered when you both pulled back and you gave him a big smile which he couldn't help but return.

"I love you too (Y/N)" Connor replied, making your heart melt. He then buried his face in your hair and you both simply stayed like that for a little bit. You kissed the side of his head and reached up to let his hair down so you could run your fingers through it. Eventually he released you and stepped back to sit on the bed again. You watched him with a tired but happy expression. Walking over to a small desk you blew out the candles that flickered forlornly and the room became shrouded in darkness. You made your way back to the bed and felt around until your hand found Connor's. He gently pulled you to him and into his arms.

With his warmth engulfing you, you felt calm again and you cuddled up to him, laying your head on his chest. Your eyes slipped closed but you pressed a few more kissed to his skin before fully relaxing in his arms. You knew that the Revolution was far from over but at least you could savor the moments like this when they did occur. You also knew that in the morning when you woke that your assassin would be gone, but you were positive that he'd be safe and come back to you like he always did.
