13 hours. That's how long the flight was expected to be. Honestly when you first heard the flight to Japan was going to be 13 hours, you were absolutely ecstatic. That would be 13 hours of sleeping, playing pokemon on your DS, and just basically doing nothing of any importance whatsoever, and you were totally freaking down with that. But this despite your excitement now, this morning you were not quite as thrilled. You spent a good few hours just walking around your empty house, looking at the place you grew up, the place you were now leaving forever to go halfway around the world. Of course you were going to miss it, you grew up here, you've made so many memories in this house. You'd being lying if you said you hadn't cried a little on the way to the airport, though you were absolutely certain not to let your sister or grandma see your tears, as they rolled slowly down your face.

You pulled up the hood to your favorite black hoodie as you make your way into the airport, pulling along your bag. You didn't own a lot of stuff, not because you were poor, but because you simply didn't want to get too attached to any items you didn't have any uses for. Besides, you didn't do much of anything other than goof off when you weren't at wor- oh yeah. You'll have to get a new job once you get to Japan. That shouldn't be too hard for you, since you took 8 years of Japanese and are now fluent in the language, but it may become a challenge for your sister, who knows no Japanese.Your grandma is rich as fuck and retired anyways so she doesn't need to go job hunting.
When it's your turn to load your garbage onto the plane, you drop it onto the loading place and follow your grandma, because honestly you've never been on a plane, like where the fuck do I go now.

After a few minutes of just following your grandma and older sister around like a lost puppy, you end up loading onto the plane and taking your seats. Sitting down next to the window beside your sister, you peer out at the sky, observing all the beautiful clouds and the surroundings of the plane as everyone gets on and takes their seats. It's funny how much you enjoy looking at the sky since you never get off your lazy ass and go freaking outside, but that's not a problem you suppose since you get this rad view right here and right now from this cramped plane seat. Ahh, this is the life mate.

" Y/n....Y/n are you listening?" You snap your head around to look at your older sister S/n.

"Uh..hehe no I was spacing out, what did you want?" you mumble softly, trying to hide the little bit of embarrassment that what eating away at you in your chest.

" I was just wondering y/n...are you okay? You've been awfully quiet the whole way here. I mean it's not unlike you to be quiet I guess, but normally you at least talk to me"

Looking down at your lap you shrug softly, "I suppose I'm just gonna miss this place y'know? I mean We've lived here our whole life after all. Just leaving makes me feel kinda shitty. Besides, I'm not too good at experiencing new things like this. It's scary in a way."

"Well, just think of it as an adventure. Just because something is new doesn't mean it has to be scary." your sister points out, playfully nudging your shoulder to reassure you. Allowing a smile to cross your face you nod in agreement and look out the window again, though you aren't quite sure if you actually do agree with that statement. Nothing new in your life has ever been good before. Never.

Looking out the window must be a very tiring thing because you find yourself slowly dozing off with your head leaning against the clear glass. You'll probably wake up with a kink in your neck but hey, sleepy beggars can't be sleepy choosers.

Honestly though, the nap wasn't too bad since you have superb sleeping skills and can sleep literally anywhere. Once you even slept on the gym floor in middle school as your sister played in her basketball game. Was it cold and hard, yes, but did you get a good 3 hours of sleep, yes. Was your back killing you for the next week, of course it was, but you weren't going to admit that to anyone, you still cared about your reputation as a sleep master, that was like all you really cared about. Well other than video games and anime, but sleeping always came first.
