Trigger warning, suicide mention and death mention
------
It's been a few weeks since you've become acquainted with the other Matsuno brothers, and you've been hanging out with Kara whenever you had free time. At first you were a bit worried you were being clingy, but every time you two were together, Kara seemed very happy. He didn't seem to mind your company at all, and it made you warm and fuzzy inside. Your sister was very surprised that you were getting along so well with another human being. It was understandable after all, since you spent most of your life being a shut in and having close to no human contact with others. It seemed like all those years were starting to catch up with you, and you were unconsciously trying to make up for it as much as you could now.
You've been feeling so happy lately, and you didn't want it to stop.
Right now, you were sitting in a local coffee shop with Kara. The coffee shop was called Sutabaa, and Kara recommended going here because Todomatsu worked here. You were sipping on a cup of coffee, beside Kara, as you flipped through a thick little notebook that you used for studying Japanese. Yes, you've been learning Japanese for several years and was fluent, but you still had a lot of Kanji to learn. Karamatsu was helping you out with that now, and you appreciated it since kanji really gave you a bloody headache. When Karamatsu poked your shoulder you glanced up curiously.
"Ne y/n-chan.." He mumbled, looking at you with a sparkle in his eyes, like he had a burning question to ask you.
"Yeah?"
"I was wondering...could you perhaps teach me some more english?"
Tilting your head curious, you give him a lopsided smile, "Sure, I don't mind. We can do that later if you'd like."
He seemed pleased with your response and rests his cheek on his hand with a small smile, continuing to softly mumble out the kanji with you.
Glancing down just because, your mind starts to drift into a daze. You usually daydream a lot when you get a little tired of studying, but Karamatsu doesn't seem to notice you're not paying much attention. When your eyes flicker down to look at Kara's arms, you find a blush slowly starting to creep it's way onto your face, and your eyes flick to his chest next, looking at the soft fabric of his hoodie.
Letting out an awkward cough, you quickly glance away, not liking where your mind was heading. The same little voice from weeks ago came screaming back into your mind. 'You can't trust other people, they'll make you sad, they'll betray you.' You didn't want to listen to it, didn't want to believe it. In fact you didn't believe it. Karamatsu was such a nice friend, he wouldn't betray you...right?
When a gentle hand lands on your shoulder and shakes you slightly, you snap your head back around, forgetting about your daydream.
"Y/n?...you alright?"
"Huh? Y-yeah I was just thinking a bit."
"Ah, maybe we should take a break, you seem to be having trouble paying attention." He chuckles softly and you can't help but smile at the angelic sound. You adored his laugh.
"Okay sure, hehe." You mutter.
"Ne, I've been meaning to ask you." Glancing over at him, you tilt your head, awaiting his question.
"I've never seen your parents. Why is it only your sister and grandmother live with you?"
You can feel your expression slowly turning blank, as a burning fear swells in your chest. Or was that sadness? Dread? You didn't know, but the feeling swelled so much that you had to bite your lip to keep from letting out a pained wail. You never did tell him did you? About how your parents were dead? About how they died? No, of course you didn't mention that, you never ever spoke of that day, not to anyone, you never even brought it up with S/n, why would you tell Karamatsu?
